Wow time flies… I played my very first dj set in front of a crowd exactly 25 years ago. I used to practice in the basement of a youth club every week because I couldn’t afford my own turntables. When playing my first gigs I was shaking and was so intimidated I could barely speak. Honestly, it’s still the same even if I’m able to hide it now. If I wouldn’t feel this nervousness and excitement any longer I would let it go and quit. 
Since we are still not able to celebrate properly I prepared a podcast for you with my current favorite slow tracks. 
I think it’s perfect for the upcoming summer vibes, for listening at home and dreaming about festivals 🐈💫🌈❤️🦄

Mira_25 years anniversary

Berlin-born Junkuhn began collecting records at the age of seven. He's been a club regular since his teens and started DJ-ing in '93. His well-known trademark is playing high-octane DJ sets including almost any danceable electronic genre within a set, yet mainly focusing on house & funky tripped-out techno. His imaginative and improvisational mixing skills using decks & FX mayhem keep the dancefloor crazy and alive for 10 - 12 hour party marathons.
After nearly 11 years abroad Junkuhn now lives in his hometown again. Previously he built up a studio in London then moved to Bratislava, Slovakia where he was responsible for co-creating/ designing and fully managing the Soniclab club, being also responsible for the clubs program with international level line-ups including: Funk D’void, Ewan Pearson, Konrad Black, Simon Baker, Dixon, Random Factor, Mike Shannon, Heiko M/S/O, etc...
He never forgot to support & feature local and young talent too! Junkuhn produces and remixes a variety of electronic music with releases on Sologroove, Sajgon Rec. & Animal Instincts Recordings.

what they do best; playing back to back.
Having influenced the East‐German techno scene throughout the last twenty years, Mira established her musical home in Berlin’s legendary Bar25. There, she shaped her very own unique sound that can be considered as a story of these endless nights full of intensity.
Bar25 was also the place for her to meet DJ and producer Chris Schwarzwalder. Moving from his Hip Hop­‐roots towards electronic music, it was not by accident that Chris followed the beat of time to Berlin.
Anyone who has experienced their endless sets already understand why Berliners speak of the particular sound being created by both of them.
A soulful, mesmerizing sound that you will sense sinking under your skin and leaving you with a feeling of deep warm­‐heartedness.
What happens is the perfect chemistry of classic mixing skills along with ingenious live productions that really deserve to be called a moving experience.
All of their styles and sounds can, not only be discovered live behind the decks, but also on prosperous vinyl and digital releases.
