“The Ukrainian Dog” Es una sentencia, un legado hecho ruina, una cicatriz congelada en los campos blancos de Kiev. Es el retrato sonoro de Verunt Yridichenko, el último de su estirpe, heredero de una voluntad que se niega a extinguirse. Nacido de la pérdida y la desesperación, moldeado por la traición y la guerra, Verunt es símbolo del hombre al que le arrebatan todo, excepto su fuego interno.

La filosofía de esta obra se sustenta en una dualidad brutal:
 El mundo que arde, pero la voluntad que persiste.
 El linaje roto, pero el alma incorruptible.

La pieza navega por los pasajes más oscuros de la historia reciente: la caída de la Unión Soviética, la guerra de Crimea, las cárceles militares donde se castiga la dignidad, y las élites corruptas que juegan a ser dioses. Pero en medio del acero, del barro y la nieve, nace algo sagrado: la idea de que el hombre puede ser más que sus cadenas.

Verunt no busca redención ni venganza. Busca una nueva génesis, un mundo que no dependa de los mitos ni de los dogmas. The Ukrainian Dog lo define así:

"No soy el héroe. Soy la consecuencia. Soy lo que ocurre cuando la fe en los dioses muere, y nace la fe en uno mismo."

Faith was drowned by oil and greed.
Religions burned, the banners torn...
And Verunt rose to forge the dawn.

We are not gods,
We are stars unseen—
Fallen free from old machines.

That breaks the curse—
The nameless souls who’ll build the earth.
