With the industry being in a desperate state of confusion from lack originality, DMV’s hottest up-incoming artist, Y-Not serves as guidance in bringing music back to its roots. Born and raised in Glenarden apartments in the state of Maryland, his uncanny ability of storytelling and creativity captures the essence of Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Electronic, and J. Cole. 

 As a former member of DMV’s rap group Spaghetti and Grits, Y-Not is revered for his equipped Hip Hop lyrics and timeless sounds that trail blaze all avenues of music. He first began honing his rap skills at the early age of three years-old, where he inherited his love for words from his uncle propelling him to rhyme off a Fisher Price Toy Microphone. From then on he has been perfecting his art. In 2015, Y-Not decided it was time to showcase his talents to the world and turn his passion for music into a lucrative career. 

As a Hip-Hop artist and CEO/ C0-Founder of Team Undaline, a conglomerate that is straight to the point with all forms of media, he is anchored to be one of the newest generations of all-stars hailing out of the DMV.
Y-Not is currently working on his new project, ‘Y-Not Da Amazin’, and his first single, “Special”, will hit the tristate area late August.
