Mirage Sud is proud to present its third release, The Curvature, the debut EP by Bouh (@djbouh), a young and talented Parisian producer.

Every experience is a lesson, whether born from an accumulation of knowledge or by chance. Music, like a tale, takes us from the known to the unknown, an endless quest in the art of storytelling. It guides us through sonic landscapes that unfold, creating parallel worlds in constant evolution.

Bouh’s compositions are just this kind of story, an initiatory path resembling the monomyth of the hero. Each sound pushes us to explore further without merely being another variation. It’s a journey towards new places of transformation. Through a progressive and refined trance, he immerses us in an epic, textured, and psychedelic sonic adventure. His tracks twist, expand, and contract like a breath, leading us beyond the simple cycle.

Like a melody that takes time to reveal itself, his work invites us to appreciate the detours and deviations. When we subtly dance with uncertainty, irregularity ceases to be a flaw and becomes a form of beauty that can be found in every variation. The Curvature is the story of a line that wanted to be a curve. It’s the beginning of a spiral, a path to infinity.

"Dimensions Variables” in French, is the standard term used to describe the size of an artwork that fluctuates or cannot be physically limited.
The evolution of music is continuous. Genres shift, temporal structures deform, formats explode, and all refuse to be confined to a box.
This first volume captures a precise moment, one where the scene, both in France and beyond, pushes creativity and the richness of what’s happening right now just a bit further. Ten artists, ten vanishing points, who, through their visions, move the boundaries of what seemed to be defined. Mirage Sud is proud to present their universes. It’s an invitation to lose yourself in this open, shifting space, without a fixed point, but constantly tending forward.
Here, house music becomes dense and sunny, sometimes flirting with a warm, textured trance. It’s progressive, but never static, as if nothing ever stays in place.
In this porous zone where reshaping the past and surfing on codes coexist with the way of breaking free from them. Maybe, in the end, everyone is just trying to move beyond their own limit.

Artiste bio: 
Born and now based back in Paris, Maya resided in Berlin all her twenties & early thirties, where she's fast becoming known and respected for her unique taste in early techno, Electro and Ghetto Tech special touch.
A vinyl devotee since her 20's, her style is constantly evolving but always with a strong emphasis to rhythm, percussion & emotion. 
Blending genres from Bass/experimental, D&B, to Techno and the list goes on... Maya's sets are not easily categorized but always with very high energy. 
In the most recent years, she also started playing & experimenting with Ambient & downtempo rhythms, in DJ-sets, as well as Live, using her own voice to take you on a shamanic trip.
Maya has already guested at many of Berlins events: at well-known venues like Berghain Kantine and the infamous Staub events at About Blank in Berlin, Dance Tunnel in London or Suma Beach in Istanbul, FOG festival in Basel.
It is Maya's fierce commitment to constantly sourcing quality new records, while all the time not being afraid to dig out a lesser known track from the recent decades of dance music, that makes her sets truly standout.

L'espace onirique qu'elle nous offre plie notre perception du temps, l'étirant sans jamais vraiment l'arrêter. Le quatrième épisode du podcast UltraSoftcare s’ouvre sur les mots d’Alan Watts, interrogeant notre perception du réel. Sommes-nous dans un rêve éveillé, une introspection constante ?

KayTV développe cette idée dans son live à travers un tissage sonore où field recording et textures organiques s’entrelacent. Les bruits de pas dans la neige et les cloches des Pottoks - guides sonores des juments à travers le brouillard - ancrent notre écoute au réel. À l’image de ces cloches rassemblant le troupeau au-delà du visible, des voix tribales émergent, échos d’un autre temps, reliant l’instant présent à une mémoire plus vaste.
Autour, des nappes acides sinueuses croisent de profondes reverbs étirées, tapissant l’arrière-plan avec harmonie. Parfois, des chants d’oiseaux; parfois, un silence suspendu. Puis, à mesure que l’on avance, des pads lumineux percent la brume sonore, traçant une lueur dans l’obscurité.

Sur un rythme trip-hop lourd et tribal, KayTV nous guide à travers des paysages mouvants, entre errance contemplative et exploration sensorielle. Une performance immersive où la musique devient lecture sensible d’un monde parallèle, toujours présent mais rarement perçu.

Créateur d'atmosphères atypiques basées sur des influences diverses et une volonté de casser les frontières entre les styles, Von GDK est un producteur et sélecteur tout-terrain à l’aise dans les afters les plus ensoleillés comme dans les salles les plus sombres. Rythmiques groovy, ambiances 90's, textures rêveuses et basses entraînantes sont autant d’éléments qui définissent son style mêlant prog house, trance, electro et minimale. Un certain nombre de ses tracks sont signées sur des labels anglais, roumains et français (39 Records, Wonderground, Duboka Records, LIEF, Welter Records, NNMS (Nonymous), Subkultur, Pr!sme ou RNT Records).
Von GDK est impliqué dans plusieurs collectifs, anciennement avec La Carte Son, il est maintenant résident et co-programmateur de l’association Ren’Art et du Summer of Rom et cofondateur du collectif Grooveline à Paris.

Creator of unique atmospheres influenced by diverse sounds and a desire to break boundaries between genres, Von GDK is a versatile producer and selector, equally at home in sun-soaked afterparties as he is in the darkest rooms.
Groovy rhythms, 90s vibes, dreamy textures, and infectious basslines are just a few of the elements that define his style, blending prog house, trance, electro, and minimal. A number of his tracks have been signed to British, Romanian, and French labels (39 Records, Wonderground, Duboka Records, LIEF, Welter Records, NNMS (Nonymous), Subkultur, Pr!sme, and RNT Records).
Von GDK is involved in several collectives, formerly with La Carte Son, he is now a resident and co-programmer of the association Ren'Art and Summer of Rom, as well as a co-founder of the Grooveline collective in Paris.

“Dimensions Variables” in French, is the standard term used to describe the size of an artwork that fluctuates or cannot be physically limited.
The evolution of music is continuous. Genres shift, temporal structures deform, formats explode, and all refuse to be confined to a box.
This first volume captures a precise moment, one where the scene, both in France and beyond, pushes creativity and the richness of what’s happening right now just a bit further. Ten artists, ten vanishing points, who, through their visions, move the boundaries of what seemed to be defined. Mirage Sud is proud to present their universes. It’s an invitation to lose yourself in this open, shifting space, without a fixed point, but constantly tending forward.
Here, house music becomes dense and sunny, sometimes flirting with a warm, textured trance. It’s progressive, but never static, as if nothing ever stays in place.
In this porous zone where reshaping the past and surfing on codes coexist with the way of breaking free from them. Maybe, in the end, everyone is just trying to move beyond their own limit.
And for this compilation, the limit moves. Space and time become elastic. Welcome to Dimensions Variables Vol. 1.
