"Dimensions Variables” in French, is the standard term used to describe the size of an artwork that fluctuates or cannot be physically limited.
The evolution of music is continuous. Genres shift, temporal structures deform, formats explode, and all refuse to be confined to a box.
This first volume captures a precise moment, one where the scene, both in France and beyond, pushes creativity and the richness of what’s happening right now just a bit further. Ten artists, ten vanishing points, who, through their visions, move the boundaries of what seemed to be defined. Mirage Sud is proud to present their universes. It’s an invitation to lose yourself in this open, shifting space, without a fixed point, but constantly tending forward.
Here, house music becomes dense and sunny, sometimes flirting with a warm, textured trance. It’s progressive, but never static, as if nothing ever stays in place.
In this porous zone where reshaping the past and surfing on codes coexist with the way of breaking free from them. Maybe, in the end, everyone is just trying to move beyond their own limit.
And for this compilation, the limit moves. Space and time become elastic. Welcome to Dimensions Variables Vol. 1.

Créateur d'atmosphères atypiques basées sur des influences diverses et une volonté de casser les frontières entre les styles, Von GDK est un producteur et sélecteur tout-terrain à l’aise dans les afters les plus ensoleillés comme dans les salles les plus sombres. Rythmiques groovy, ambiances 90's, textures rêveuses et basses entraînantes sont autant d’éléments qui définissent son style mêlant prog house, trance, electro et minimale. Un certain nombre de ses tracks sont signées sur des labels anglais, roumains et français (39 Records, Wonderground, Duboka Records, LIEF, Welter Records, NNMS (Nonymous), Subkultur, Pr!sme ou RNT Records).
Von GDK est impliqué dans plusieurs collectifs, anciennement avec La Carte Son, il est maintenant résident et co-programmateur de l’association Ren’Art et du Summer of Rom et cofondateur du collectif Grooveline à Paris.

Creator of unique atmospheres influenced by diverse sounds and a desire to break boundaries between genres, Von GDK is a versatile producer and selector, equally at home in sun-soaked afterparties as he is in the darkest rooms.
Groovy rhythms, 90s vibes, dreamy textures, and infectious basslines are just a few of the elements that define his style, blending prog house, trance, electro, and minimal. A number of his tracks have been signed to British, Romanian, and French labels (39 Records, Wonderground, Duboka Records, LIEF, Welter Records, NNMS (Nonymous), Subkultur, Pr!sme, and RNT Records).
Von GDK is involved in several collectives, formerly with La Carte Son, he is now a resident and co-programmer of the association Ren'Art and Summer of Rom, as well as a co-founder of the Grooveline collective in Paris.

Luigi
Resident pilot and co-founder of Grooveline, when Luigi Rubinetto enters the cockpit, he has one goal in mind: to gain altitude. Whether in the cockpit or in the studio, he’s always at the helm of the ship for trancy and rhythmic journeys.

“It’s an instinctive groove, born in the moment. It all started with a crisp drum line on the RD-9, then a vocal sample naturally fell into place. From that point on, everything just flowed: a deep, round bass, an acid synth that blends seamlessly with it… The result is a danceable track, full of raw energy that makes you want to move without thinking.”

From house to techno, passing through trance, Bouh blends textures and psychedelic atmospheres in a progressive journey linking 90’s sounds and hypnotic grooves.
Composed over several sessions, Bouh’s track Pass Out is a hybrid between analog synthesizer, used for the basslines and the pad, and VSTs for the other elements. The repeated use of a harmonic resonance reverb effect (such as a spectral resonator) on various audio sources helps to unify the entire track, giving it an almost robotic feel, rich in textures. For this track, he wanted to create a psychedelic, club-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a melodic touch through the addition of a pad that provides a sense of breath, a light at the end of the progression.

Une collection de 5 titres qui mélange les sonorités rave des années 90 et la progressive moderne, avec des remix de Gneiss et de Bliss Inc.
