In this mixtape I played a lot with some field recordings, and resampling.
It's the first podcast on my channel and I am going a bit away from my usual sound and try something slightly more aggressive, with more darkness to it. 
The track selection is mainly inspired by what I am playing in recent gigs.

"This is a recording of a very special New Year's Eve spent on the magical island of Chacahua, in the heart of Oaxaca in Mexico.  

Athenaïs & Arnau Amatista had the pleasure of playing b2b at a local music festival called "El Festi" for the first sunrise of 2022. 
The crowd was dancing on fire, the moon was lit up by the sun slowly replacing it and some were running into the wild ocean for their first swim of the year.

Thank you all so much for this incredible experience, for your hospitality and good vibes. We are so grateful to have met our new Mexican family, to share and create together."

Jens is a dear music friend with whom I have been in contact for a long time. His fascination for music is second to none. You can hardly find an act in the field of downtempo and organic house that he hasn't already contemplated about. He is also well versed in many other styles.  I really love to to exchange music ideas with someone like him.

We are really happy to host one trippy and cosmic storytelling from our long time friend Nikösh.  It's time to walk on the right side of the Chill with his unique vibe around the earth.
Nikösh is a former heavy metal singer who made his way into the electronic scene by singing on a co-production project which has been called Nik'Otikz (2009-10). After he started mixing as a DJ in different events in Quebec and Mexico. 
Last year, he has been welcomed in the With Dimensions collective in Montreal, with a downtempo project that includes a lot of world music, but also grooves with heavy basses that can't deny his taste for techno music  and psychedelics sounds.

Nukreative is a project born out of mutual passion and love for music. With careers spanning over 20 years the Australian duo now based in Los Angeles, are making waves in the underground dance scene with their Nu sound combining earthy textures, organic sounds & soundscapes crossed with Deep House and Downtempo.

In a short time the duo have already scored releases on Magician On Duty, Kindisch and Open Records, with continuous support from artists like Kora, Sebastien Ledger and Be Svendsen to name a few.
