For the next Lost release Leftwing & Kody have drafted in Max Chapman. Only three years ago Max was tipped by Pete Tong as one to watch.

For LR 006 we have a 5 track EP. Jackin' leads the way with it's deep hooks and solid vocal samples. This time on a remix tip is another Lost brother PAWSA who adds his signature instrumentation. On a more high tempo synth groove with a trippy rolling bassline Max cleverly masters 'Holding On.' Label bosses Leftwing and Kody add a more melodic spaced out vibe when they join in on remix duties with their trademark arrangement.

To wrap this up 'Too Late' speeds things up a notch with a lively female vocal building on a more techy sound throughout

Hot Since 82 kicks off 2015 with an eerie new original featuring the vocals of Alex Mills and accompanied by a killer remix from current star of the underground Detlef. The Core features in part 2 of strangely chilling 'Sleepwalker' short film the Yorkshireman released via his Facebook last week. VIVa resident and Ibiza favourite Detlef, turns in an absolute gem of a rework, and most notably one of this year's BPM most played.

The Core is taken from "Knee Deep In Sound", his debut mix album which is a joint release on his own label of the same name, and Ultra. The album includes 4 Hot Since 82 exclusives, new material from a number of acts he's A+R'd, and several new gems he signed especially for the release.

Few DJs have blazed such a singular path to stardom as Hot Since 82. He's graced the cover of Mixmag, performed live with a string quartet, nailed two Essential Mixes, served up several Beatport No.1s, and even kidnapped fans for his amazing TAKEN project which SOLD OUT in 30mins flat. One could describe Mirco Caruso’s previous career with just three words: “haste makes waste”.  The club-musician with Italian roots’ approach to music is never contrived - nor does he care for exclusive hype or shallow bandwagoning. Mirco Caruso’s career is embossed by a gravitas that has consistently and continuously led him to the music that reflects his passion the most.
The steep rise that started with his first tech house release in 2014 - and was followed by broad international support and gigs around the world - suddenly came to a halt in 2020 when Covid hit.
Yet, against all odds, this marks the beginning of Caruso’s musical and artistic transition. After struggling with finding new inspiration and creativity amidst a world turned upside down, passion finally was reignited after visiting a concert that would inspire a profound change. A change that has ultimately resulted in his newly formed moniker «MICA» that represents an equally newly formed, inherently melodic and dreamy signature sound. One thing, though, remains unchanged: MICA’s impeccable flair for deeply touching productions and his incredible skill set in the studio. Surely, it won’t be long, until his music yet again finds its way back into the rotations of the biggest names in the industry.
