For LAZIC015, she embraces all her vibrant energy, providing two originals - one together with ABEL - that feature rubbery basslines, acid licks, spacey synths, and skippy grooves. On the remix duties, Argentinian top-producer LondonGround (elrow, SIGHT) takes things to the next level with an incredible take, crafting a bold, hypnotic version built for both the dancefloor and the afters. Closing with the Simes (DESOLAT, Tamango Records) remix, the rising German talent goes towards deeper lands by adding vibrant pads and an irresistible late-night feel. The first is Next Guest, a robust and upright house groove with bobbling bass, tin pot precision and aloof, distant vocals bleeding into the mix. It’s a cool, breezy cut that makes you sway your hips. Then comes the more driven Let Me Go, which is a tense, edge of your seat ride through the cosmos with twinkling keys, tough synths and shooting pads all forming a bed off which dreamy, whispered vocals leap. It’s infectious, attention grabbing stuff that will make sure dancers sweat from start to finish. These are two crisp tracks that really get under your skin and want to make you move. One could describe Mirco Caruso’s previous career with just three words: “haste makes waste”.  The club-musician with Italian roots’ approach to music is never contrived - nor does he care for exclusive hype or shallow bandwagoning. Mirco Caruso’s career is embossed by a gravitas that has consistently and continuously led him to the music that reflects his passion the most.
The steep rise that started with his first tech house release in 2014 - and was followed by broad international support and gigs around the world - suddenly came to a halt in 2020 when Covid hit.
Yet, against all odds, this marks the beginning of Caruso’s musical and artistic transition. After struggling with finding new inspiration and creativity amidst a world turned upside down, passion finally was reignited after visiting a concert that would inspire a profound change. A change that has ultimately resulted in his newly formed moniker «MICA» that represents an equally newly formed, inherently melodic and dreamy signature sound. One thing, though, remains unchanged: MICA’s impeccable flair for deeply touching productions and his incredible skill set in the studio. Surely, it won’t be long, until his music yet again finds its way back into the rotations of the biggest names in the industry.
