Tapesh se crió en los clubes de su padre a principios de los años 80, donde no tuvo más remedio que escuchar cosas como Kraftwerk y la música funk adecuada. Teniendo en cuenta sus oídos jóvenes e impresionables, no es de extrañar que nunca haya dejado de escuchar y que ahora pase sus días tocando música para otros. Finalmente, se abrió paso en la conciencia pública gracias a producciones como Reminisce on Get Physical, Feelings on Mobilee y otras en sellos como Noir y Defected, Tapesh se ha vuelto muy solicitado en todo el mundo, llevando sus extravagantes sets de DJ a clubes como Cocoon en Frankfurt, Warung en Brasil y Studio 80 en los Países Bajos.

Con raíces multiculturales informadas por todo, desde el house hasta el breakdance a través de escenas en el Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Europa, Tapesh ha fomentado un estilo de DJ muy singular que incorpora muchos sonidos y los une en un solo rallador. Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, DJ T y Anja Schneider, por ejemplo, son fanáticos de ese "sentimiento Tapesh" especial, y ese mismo sentimiento es lo que hace que la música del hombre sea tan amada. En cuanto al futuro, Tapesh está trabajando actualmente en una nueva compilación y un álbum de artista completo, así como en nuevos singles y EP todo el tiempo.

One could describe Mirco Caruso’s previous career with just three words: “haste makes waste”.  The club-musician with Italian roots’ approach to music is never contrived - nor does he care for exclusive hype or shallow bandwagoning. Mirco Caruso’s career is embossed by a gravitas that has consistently and continuously led him to the music that reflects his passion the most.
The steep rise that started with his first tech house release in 2014 - and was followed by broad international support and gigs around the world - suddenly came to a halt in 2020 when Covid hit.
Yet, against all odds, this marks the beginning of Caruso’s musical and artistic transition. After struggling with finding new inspiration and creativity amidst a world turned upside down, passion finally was reignited after visiting a concert that would inspire a profound change. A change that has ultimately resulted in his newly formed moniker «MICA» that represents an equally newly formed, inherently melodic and dreamy signature sound. One thing, though, remains unchanged: MICA’s impeccable flair for deeply touching productions and his incredible skill set in the studio. Surely, it won’t be long, until his music yet again finds its way back into the rotations of the biggest names in the industry.
