Alabaster Jones is a band with a straightforward mission - for them it's all about playing good music to the people and to #StayFunky.

In 2010, six Glaswegian musicians came together to form the group. They immediately gelled and began writing their own brand of music and have become Scotland's answer for true modern funk.

"We simply want to play good music for people that they can get down to - no bells, no whistles. Just six chaps who like a groove."

Influenced by a range of classic funk/soul outfits Alabaster Jones keep the funk modern, fun and truly progress it into the 21st century.

In March 2013 the band recorded their full debut EP, "The Night Before The Morning After"

They ventured back into the studio in May 2015 to record their new EP, "Six Weeks". Released on 31st July, it marks the bands funkiest music to date.
