He made his debut with the album MUTE in 2019, a project that introduced his introspective voice and storytelling style. He followed it up with AFTER 5 (2020) and Winter Boyy Muziik (2021), both of which solidified his artistic vision and growing audience. In 2021, he also released the collaborative EP ATTACK THE VISION and dropped a string of singles across all major streaming platforms.

His fourth studio album, Phoenix, released on August 20, 2024, marked a creative leap and a new chapter in his evolution as an artist.

Outside of music, Shyy Kidd extended his creative brand by launching Winter Boyy Clothing in 2023—a streetwear line inspired by his music and lifestyle.

His sound draws influence from a diverse range of artists including MF DOOM, Pastor Mike Jr., Lecrae, 1K Phew, Dee-1, Nas, JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Chic Raw, Pusha T, Outkast, Nipsey Hussle, The Notorious B.I.G., Mos Def (Yasiin Bey), Lupe Fiasco, Jeezy, DMX, and Lloyd Banks. These influences converge in a style rooted in lyricism, faith, and raw storytelling.

On July 4, 2025, Shyy Kidd released Thank Me Later Vol. 1, a collaborative album with DJ J-Wealth, now available on all major platforms. He is currently filming music videos to support the project, while continuing work on his seventh studio album, The Artist Perspective, and an upcoming EP titled God Bless These Lyrics.
