Morphine nasce da un groviglio di influenze "hard". Fin da piccolissimo apprezzava solo i suoni più forti e di impatto: solo i kick più potenti e cattivi. 
Appassionato di musica fin dalla pancia della madre (dove calciava andando a tempo di Lucio Battisti), coltiva da sempre una passione naturale per tutto ciò che emetta suoni. Musicalmente i suoi gusti vengono stravolti all'epoca di "Los Quarenta", con gli albori e gli inizi dell'Italo Dance. I bassi iniziano ad inondare i suoi timpani cambiando la sua visione musicale. Per parecchi anni ascolta di tutto passando dal Rap di nicchia, alla Dance toccando poi anche House ed Elettronica.
La "nascita musicale" vera e propria avviene dopo l'incontro di Asco Dj, che lo introdurrà alle basi del "dj-ing" trasferendogli anche le informazioni più basilari del "fare musica". Inizia da qui un percorso che lo porterà a stravolgere quasi completamente i suoi gusti musicali.

Dal 2008 in poi, dopo l'acquisto di un paio di lettori, inizia ufficialmente a mettere in cassa ciò che fino a quel momento aveva solo tenuto sul suo pc. Scoprendo poi l'Hardstyle tramite Tatanka, la sua "vita musicale" verrà stravolta.
Si avvicinerà infatti anche all'Hardcore e ai suoi sotto generi più spinti.

Ad oggi i suoi gusti musicali lo portano a viaggiare su frequenze e bpm veramente diversi tra loro. Dalla Dutch House alla Speedcore, passando per l'Elettronica più spinta e la Dubstep più alternativa, con contaminazioni Drum and Bass.
