We’ve not seen a double A-Side from two artists on our beloved SPEICHER series in some time so we figured it was high time for the return. And what timing as warm weather has finally embraced us which means its time for a full dose of floor filled power for the festivals of 2022.

The duo that are Extrawelt should be no strangers to your ears…since we last heard from them in 2019 when they took over SPEICHER 110, they’ve released with Feel My Bicep, Further Electronix, Watergate, Dream Awake, Traum and of course Cocoon. “Stabilo” is raw and powerful, a synthesis of their analog prowess with a beat that is just unstoppable.

Say hello to 1979 as comes onboard with his debut with SPEICHER. Famously known for the HOSH collaboration “Midnight” (Ministry Of Sound) and fresh off a remix for SPEICHER alumni Anfisa Letyago, we happily feed you a summer bomb to nourish your peak time palate. A provocatively raw bass drum and dirty synth keep “Vulcano” in an eternal eruptive state.

Sensational British/Dutch trio Cubicolor share brand new single ‘Summer & Smoke’ on July 27, from their forthcoming album ‘Sometime Not Now’ out October 28 on Anjunadeep. 

Cubicolor are a British/Dutch three piece that lie somewhere in between the electronic and indie genre, consisting of Ariaan, Peter and Tim hailing from notably different backgrounds, all with very successful previous musical experiences behind them. A powerful sense of cohesion is at the very core of Cubicolor, with each member of the group bringing equal measures of musical knowledge. Together, their collective expertise provides an extra sense of perspective, talent and inspiration to Cubicolor’s unique, electronic fusion, with a real intuitive flair.

The latest release from the trio titled ‘Summer & Smoke’ was co-produced by &ME, part of the acclaimed Keinemusik collective who produced a number of tracks on Drake’s #1 album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, and has proved to be a vibrant electronic taste of what’s to come. ‘Summer & Smoke’ has an evocative underground feel to it, reflecting the groups’ musical abilities and knack for creating dancefloor moments. Alongside ‘Summer & Smoke’, Cubicolor have also shared the title of their upcoming album ‘Sometime Not Now’ that was inspired by the concept of taking your chances when life presents them to you, along with the thoughts of hope and regret, and the constant battles of risk and reward. Cubicolor member, Peter [Kriek] explained: “To get the right answers, you first need to ask the right questions.” In a statement that summarises the album. ‘Sometime Not Now’ as a construct is an album filled with introspection, self-reflection and critical thinking, whilst on a musical level is bold, expansive and a big statement from the British/Dutch trio in claiming their place among the musical elite.

Cubicolor boast over 70m streams across their first two albums ‘Brainsugar’ and ‘Hardly A Day, Hardly A Night’, receiving huge praise from The Independent, Clash Magazine and Line of Best Fit, and major support from fellow artists in RÜFÜS DU SOL, Tale Of Us, Dixon, Diplo, Jordan Rakei and Keinemusik, with a guarantee that the upcoming album will follow suit.

It’s both terrifying and overwhelmingly exciting to remix one of your idols and for me, it doesn’t come much bigger than Tony De Vit. Then to receive messages of support from his sister, Jayne really was the most beautiful part of the process, it was very emotional! 

It’s hard to put into words the significance of Tony as artist, he broke down barriers through music, united the queer and straight clubbing scenes, which was previously unheard of in the UK. He has had a huge impact on me as a producer, DJ and queer person in dance music, someone I’ve looked up to for many years as have countless other artists. Despite not being with us for 25 years and only releasing music for a few years, Tony De Vit remains a true icon of a generation, one whose legacy lives on through his music, and to be a small part of that story is something that feels incredibly special.

Renowned German DJ and producer Solee is set to release his 8th artist album named "Goldglut". The album, whose title poetically translates to "golden glow," captures the ephemeral moment just after sunrise, when the sun’s first rays paint the edge of the morning clouds with a radiant hue. This imagery, evoking both warmth and subtle intensity, mirrors the rich atmosphere of Solee´s music. The 21 tracks on Goldglut represent the culmination of Solee´s artistic work over the last two years, a period of deep reflection and exploration.
