All guitar part are captured with Zoom H1n recorder directly from my Orange Crush 35RT amp (no amp simulation on this track!).

Lunch is a sandwich, from the place down the street,
Dinner's delivery, the usual treat.

But then it hits us, a wild idea,
Let's cook a meal, show some kitchen cheer,

Now we are cooking, and the smoke alarm's screaming,

Where's the spatula? It's lost in the drawer,
I found the whisk, but what's it for?
Potatoes exploding, the blender's a mess,
How did we end up in this distress?

But then it hits us, another good plan,
Call up my mom, she'll know where to stand.
But then she's coming, the panic sets in,
We've gotta clean up before she walks in.

The kitchen's a battlefield, we're losing the war,

The City Never Sleeps

I began this piece around 3 years ago, when I had hit rock bottom mentally and emotionally.  I had only created the intro portion and had forgotten about it, only to resurrect and finish it this year. This is part of a series of deeper, more moody, but uplifting pieces that I plan to release as an EP.  I hope you enjoy the journey, and stay tuned for more!
