SIN DORMIR es un sentimiento: es verano, hace calor, mucho calor...llega el momento del descanso de la noche para estar fresco al día siguiente...imposible...el insoportable calor unido a ruidos de insectos y sus picaduras, ventanas abiertas por las que se oye el ruido de la calle, duermes, despiertas, duermes despiertas y cuando por fin consigues conciliar el sueño... suena  el sonido del fin del descanso y te levantas con esa sensación de un poco de rabia por no haber podido descansar. Eso es SIN DORMIR.

El Sosiego translates to the Calm. A Haunting, almost sad, string line starts the song off, with a heartbeat kick drum pulsing underneath, the calm before the storm. As the track builds and the storm bursts, there is a crazy, almost psychotic synth line playing the melody, adding to the disturbia. As we hit the middle breakdown, the sad strings are a back drop, and a hypnotic voice fades in, “Its brainwashing you”. A reference to conspiracy theorists everywhere. Perfect for playlists in places such as Cafe Del Mar, or an Amsterdam coffee shop, after club music.  Dave Pemberton is the producer and ex member of the band Kinobe, as well as being a grammy nominated mixing engineer for the song “Superstylin” by Groove Armada.

Unexplored Worlds

Born a long time ago, music has been maturing in my head for a long time. I finally managed to equip a studio and buy synthesizers. 

By the way, I am a big fan of analog and modular synthesizers. I like to look for the right sound and then the melody comes by itself.

My inspiration and role models are musicians from the old Berlin School, such as synth music legends Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream on the one hand and Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian Eno... on the other. However, I try to remain original and build my own style.

Almost all of my songs are original. I do everything myself, from composing and arranging to mastering and mixing. I use Studio One Pro 7.

I would like to have more time to create music, but my full-time job and daily obligations also require a lot of my time!. I hope that will change and I will have more time for music
