Brief Story of my musical life!
Hi, dear music lovers, 
*My name is Johan F. Langhendries and at the age of two, I became interested in music. Believe it or not, I was a very quiet child and I often listened to music on my father's radio. Jazz, Rock, Classic, just everything! A little later, at age 4 and 5, my grandmother learned me what a C-chord was on her piano, in the different octaves. Later on, she learned me also the other chord. At the age of six, I started making my own drums with wash-powder boxes and I used wooden kitchen spoons to make the sound of a “drum”. When I was 8, several albums like for example; “Let it be” by The Beatles, Block Buster by The Sweet, Black & Blue by The Rolling Stones, etc... were a part of my drum exercise experiences as a young kid. 

° At the age 10, I learned to play on a real drum-kit and trumpet and was also following music theory in two different music schools, for six years, to fill up my evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon, I had to go to our music theory class and we learned how to write music, etc… At the age of 12, I had my first second-hand drum-kit and at sixteen i started playing in a Punk-Rockband. Lots of fun indeed! At age 18 I  went to study at private school ‘Haleweyn ‘Jazz-Studio’ in Antwerp and learned a lot more about Jazz music and how to play it... I Love to play Jazz, but Funk and Rock became the biggest part of my drumming experience.

– EXPERIENCE; I’ve played as a professional drummer in many bands (Belgium) like ‘Citizen Jane’ (Jazz/Pop) for 5 years with one CD recording and many concerts. I’ve been a studio recording drummer and have worked 40 years as a drummer;  Live concerts, Recording drummer and albums with different rock bands, etc. I still do and learn of course!

– MY PROJECTS SINCE 2004 are; Wannislas(aka) and Abstinent Dazzle (Band). With these two projects, I make some Funky, Dance, Reggae, Rock & Jazz (Fusion) music.    In my third project; Johan Franz Lang (feat. Space Orchestra) I make a kind of contemporary chill-out, easy listening music. 

- I followed a sound engineering class for 2 years (age 29) and do the mastering for my albums and sometimes for other artists -

Since 2005, I've been passionately creating electronic music, driven by my own inspirations and love for the art. The enchanting melodies of synthesizers and captivating spatial sound effects never fail to mesmerize me. Nature serves as my greatest muse, and I take pleasure in capturing field recordings of birds, insects, animals, and bustling crowds to incorporate into my compositions.

In the past, I thrived as a member of the Psy-Trance unit "Dead&Growing," infusing psychedelic effects into my music to create a unique experience for listeners. You can find me on Instagram under the handle @dead_and_growing.

By 2025, my ultimate goal is to perform a sunset beach live set on an idyllic Asian party island, such as Ibiza or Thailand. The thought of sharing my music with a receptive audience in such a breathtaking setting fills me with excitement and anticipation. I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support on this journey. Together, let's strive to make this dream a reality!

This all began in 1995 when, as a teenager, he longed to emulate his musical idols. Then several friends decided to give some concerts for fun.
We had to record a demo produced with the then lead guitarist of the Aragonese group TAKO (Pablo Moreno) who also produced the band's recordings at the time and in which we had several collaborations with members of the group.
After a few years I decided to return to this facet of my life but in a more mature way, building my Home Studio from scratch which you never finish completing because you are always adding instrumentation. I have been doing self-taught tests and training myself through specific training courses. I have more than 100 instrumental songs on the market that I own and author. Four EPs and one LP.

I am a founding member of LA SEPTIMA FAROLA with whom we have been preparing songs for some time. We already have three singles on the market and on January 4, 2024 our first EP CUANTO TIEMPO will be released, so it is very popular on streaming platforms.
I make music for audiovisuals.
I have composed several scenes for the film.
“Godot Collectors” An independent film that has had very good acceptance in the festivals where it has been presented internationally.
I am composing several soundtracks for short films that are in the post-production process.

Music is a passion that I like to experience. It would be wonderful if this hobby became my way of life.

Haleen is a realization of a Belgian husband and wife duo. They operate from an off-grid setting in Portugal and have created their own unique genre of music. Their sound is highly recognizable and their music is inspired by their energy shift and transformation of consciousness. Their music is mind-opening, hypnotic, and uplifting. Hans's musical journey commenced at a very young age! After attending several rock concerts, he was inspired to take the stage himself and purchased his first electric guitar at the age of 15. Teaching himself to play, within just one year of dedicated practice, he confidently performed at his first gig. In this captivating musical narrative, Hans emerges as an artist who not only mastered diverse genres but seamlessly blended them to create a symphony that transcends boundaries. The echoes of his journey linger in the distinctive and innovative notes of a genre uniquely his own.

Kath's musical journey may not boast a lengthy history, but it's a tale of profound transformation. With minimal musical exposure in her past, Kath underwent a radical overnight shift in her musical taste—from indulging in the greatest hits of mainstream artists across genres like Disco, Rock 'n' Roll, and Metal to immersing herself in the captivating realms of Electronic Dance Music.

Her musical evolution reflects a seismic change, transcending traditional boundaries and embracing a diverse array of sounds. Kath's current musical palette is a testament to her newfound appreciation for artists who resonate with a powerful energy, aligning seamlessly with the transformative force of their shared kundalini experience.
