One year has now passed since our very first release on Mirror Records. Our musical journey began with an EP by the talented Berlin producer and live act Bock & Fuchs and now, exactly one year later, he is back with another fabulous release on our imprint! His new EP kicks off with "Electric Eel", a track that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the release - full of interesting drum-patterns, playful melodies and that certain dirt we all love. Next up is Beatamines take on "Electric Eel". He masterfully preserved the overall feel of the song while adding harmonics with spacey sound bleeps and a catchy bass line. The flipside of the EP features "Wild Camping" and "Departure from Moon". While "Wild Camping" is a wild ride full of stirring melodies and crazy drum percussions, "Departure from Moon" really feels like a space mission to the planet Rave - which sets everyone in motion and makes them forget reality for the short time of this song.

Shaped by long nights of dancing in the Bernese domes of ancient gas works and attics former riding schools, "Lycos" set out to dive into the world of electronic music. The raw and diverse spirit of these locations is still present in his music today. Soon he launched his own event and record label "Mirror Records" and established himself in the local club scene as a well respected DJ and host of various events, while secretly working on his own productions - Now the time has come to share them with the world!
