An old, unattributed proverb states, "A smooth sea never makes a skillful sailor." Yet, our next release on Suspended Sounds proves that the opposite is fruitfully possible.

Guitars, pianos, atmospheres, and broken beats - these are the building blocks of drum & bass producer Beatmool. With releases on 170Plus Records, Flexout Audio, and RAM Records' PROGRAM, Beatmool's discography threads the needle between chilled aesthetics and gritty liquid. Based in Vancouver with a South Korean background, Beatmool is a talent to watch. We hope that his introduction into the ever-expanding Suspended Sounds family helps grow this burgeoning talent for months to come.

Beatmool's label debut, Sonder EP, consists of two tracks. The A-side, "Sonder," centers around a groovy guitar lick, accompanied by a smooth synth topline countermelody. The B-side, "Rainforce," is the gritter of the two. "Rainforce" implements a guitar riff as a progressional and transitional tool. The usage of vocal samples and topline countermelodies allow this track to exude dancefloor vibes while staying true to traditional liquid emotions.

In collaboration with Microsoft Studios for the release of the critically acclaimed game Forza Horizon 4 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, drum and bass tastemakers Hospital Records is releasing a first ever exclusive and bespoke soundtrack for the game.

Featuring as an in-game radio station in a Forza Horizon game for the third time, Hospital Records now also presents 20 exclusive and original tracks produced solely for Forza Horizon 4. The in-game unlockable Hospital Records radio station is hosted by label co-founders Tony Colman (London Elektricity) and Chris Goss, with featured artists including Metrik, Fred V & Grafix, Etherwood, S.P.Y, Logistics, London Elektricity, Kings Of The Rollers and more, available exclusively in the ‘Forza Horizon 4: Hospital Soundtrack’.

Forza Horizon 4 is currently available in the Ultimate Edition and will be available worldwide on Oct. 2. The full soundtrack will be available digitally and on streaming platforms on the 26th of October, with 6 tracks being cut especially for a limited edition vinyl release.
