Ocean Stream is unusual — it is compiled from experimental tracks and studio improvisation sessions by Microcosmos artists mostly known as chillout producers.
 
The music genres of the compilation range from drone and glitch to experimental, all of them are fused at the ambient flow of sound. The tracks of Ocean Stream form the set of distinctive stories by chillout masters combined into a music stream. Like an ocean current, it flows you through the dark and the light, whirls into dreams, leads through the forest and space landscapes. Microcosmos Records presents Xtradimensional Motions from Panda On the Bamboo Tree.

Panda On the Bamboo Tree is a musician from Poland and has been developing his project for about 8 years. The artist's incredible work with a synthesizer is truly his calling card: with the help of literally one instrument, Panda writes complex, multi-level compositions.

You can confirm this by listening to the new album Xtradimensional Motions. Variegated electronics and deep bass are harmoniously diluted with ethnic motifs and even acoustic Indian vocals. The musician combines such genres as downtempo, chillout, lounge and others, creating unique psychedelic music piece by piece. Some compositions reach the most secret corners of consciousness, others make the body move to the rhythm of the melodic pattern.

An old dark trap track I made back in 2020, inspired by themes emotions like rejection, darkness, depression and sadness, combined with genuine desire to overcome them and eventually finding the strength to do so. Red Sun Rising aka Michał Niecikowski is back on Altar with an unique psychill EP, expertly crafted with traditional folk chants and hurdy gurdy sound by Olica aka Aleksandra Suchowiecka. 

Polish traditional music originates from pagan times and is characterized by a rural origin, from a simple people and a memory transmission. It refers to the old Slavic rituals and traditions associated with the annual nature cycle and the human life cycle. It connects to them organically. In this music, singing plays an important role, as well as an open, penetrating, intense and clear voice. People also used instruments such as violin, drums, hurdy-gurdy, flute and bass. In Polish archaic music, there are a lot of elements that can be found in contemporary, experimental and electronic music - repeatability, minimal formal means, return to a single sound, reference to the surrounding nature sounds and trance. 

This EP testifies to the fact that the history of music has come full circle and the old one perfectly complements the new ones !

Mirror System (A-Wave Records) is the downtempo and chillout project of System 7's Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy. The distinctive Mirror System sound is based on deep rolling grooves and the subtle blend of rich dreamy electronica and acoustic guitar. Mirror System’s successful debut album was released in 2005. They have recently expanded their style to incorporate a soft minimal tech-house element, and in 2010 released a Mirror System DJ mix album Reflector, including remixes and collaborations with Tripswitch, Jam (of Jam and Spoon) and Bluetech. Depending on the party moment Mirror System can adapt their style for a deep chill set or a much more danceable groove – or a unique blend of the two.
