Since signing exclusively with Viper Recordings in April, Austria’s Dossa & Locuzzed have been enjoying some serious recognition as one of the industry’s hottest new drum and bass duos. ‘Dance’ sets the scene with an airy and atmospheric intro before spiralling headfirst in to a catchy beat packed full of funky synths, gritty stabs and plenty of old-school raver vibe. Adding some vocal samples and plenty of drums in to the mix, the duo has created the perfect recipe for a seriously eclectic track which is a sure-fire classic in the making.

Next up, ‘Shag’ jumps straight in with a mix of swirling synths and bouncy drums, kicking things off with a no-nonsense drop that means business. Featuring an up-tempo beat with aggressive stabs and riffs not unlike those you’d hear tearing up a jump-up dance, this first tune from the single packs a punch you’re not likely to forget.

Michael Bräuninger, known by his artist name Misanthrop, is an independent electronic music 
producer, DJ, and label owner (Neosignal Recordings) from Heilbronn, Germany. Since 2005, he 
has worked professionally as a drum-and-bass producer and, over the years, has released three 
solo albums, including Misanthrop, Analog, and Universe. With over 20 years of relentless work 
on his own musical and artistic visions, he has made a name for himself in both audio and video 
production and has become a key figure in the international drum-and-bass scene.
 His unmistakable, energetic, timeless sound has earned him an impressive discography, including 
his solo albums as well as two collaboration albums (From Deep Space and Raum und Zeit), and 
successful EPs on labels such as RAM Records and Blackout. Releases on OWSLA, Mau5trap, 
Shogun, Critical, Division, Renegade Hardware, Shadow Law, Cyanide, and Subtitles Music 
round out his portfolio. His own label, Neosignal Recordings, serves as a platform to realize his 
own visions as well as those of other artists. He receives support from international heavyweights 
such as Sub Focus, A.M.C, Imanu, Buunshin, Culture Shock, Ed Rush, Black Sun Empire, 
Phace, Mefjus, and many more.
