Another beautiful amazing @ambachfestival lies behind us. We had the honor to play the Hangar stage on Friday night at sunset and we enjoyed every minute of it! XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the underground's finest selectors.

On the cusp of his inaugural release with XYZ,  we proudly welcome INVŌKER to the show - an artist who has established himself as a captivating, innovative, and fearless force. 

The mix is a testament to a new era for the label, with an array of avant-garde, intriguing, and driving tracks that showcase INVŌKER's flair for the eclectic and his ability to weave it together flawlessly. Featuring both singles off his forthcoming EP ‘Superhero,’ which is out on January 26th, & ‘Requiem for a Detox,’ the hour simply flies by.

This is my first recorded ambient set, played live at the intimate, cozy, safe space of Koala Karnival. Thank you Elle for the invitation and to everyone in attendance for the space to express myself through soundscapes and vibrations. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. ❤️

This set is a collection of some of the most important pieces of music to me, discovered over the years and crafted into a coherent order over several weeks. My intention in opening this edition of Koala Karnival was to allow attendees to ground through organic and natural sounds, feel through some deeper tones, and travel through some of the spacier explorations. Some of the artists featured here are East Forest, Akal Dub, Nala Sinephro, Nuages, Kora, Warmth, the powerful words of Ram Das, and others who have inspired me in my musical discovery and curation. Many of these songs have been played in my yoga classes for years, so it felt right to play them in my first ambient set. 

Unwind, relax, take a deep breath, and let go. I hope you enjoy listening to this set just as much as I enjoyed playing it.

LIZA! Geboren in Bragado, Argentinië en nu woonachtig in Barcelona. Met invloeden van jazz, indie en 80s alternative brengt ze een diepe, melodische sound die raakt. Ze draaide op toplocaties in Europa en Zuid-Amerika, en werkte samen met namen als Adriatique, Massano & Giorgia Angiuli. Liza haar eigen tracks zijn te horen op labels als Seven Villas, Natura Viva & The Purr. Speciaal voor Geluksvogels nam ze een unieke set op, laat je meeslepen!

Franca was born in Munich, musically-raised in Cologne and now lives in Amsterdam. She is part of the Feines Tier agency, based in Cologne. She has just recently become a resident Dj at the famous Kater Blau club in Berlin. Also she holds residencies at the Feines Tier and WIR Schwestern parties in Cologne, as well as being part of the Confetteria collective in Amsterdam – The very same collective that was responsible for the legendary Shoeless Festivals and Alter Ego parties.
