This is Miss Elaine Eos set from the stage she ran with the Headspace Collective at The Great Beyond festival in Minnesota 2021. Before the Delta COVID Variant was a "thing" in Minnesota we slipped in this outdoor event in late July 2021. Originally planned for July 4 weekend 2020, The Great Beyond took a whole new meaning in 2021 after the pandemic had taken hold on the globe. THC had been doing outdoor events since the post-uprising days of Minneapolis in June 2020, after George Floyd's murder. We knew we still needed to gather outside to dance together, and started with bringing people together to collect supplies and re-distribute them to the community.
Aug. 1, 2021, at the festival, Elaine played this set at prime time opposite the headliner on the mainstage, Regis, and just after a kick-ass performance from AutoClub in the Dome.

Many thanks to Sean Raya for post-production mastering and Intellephunk and Enemy Records for having Domeland run their chill area.  Dancing is a sacred right !(rite?)

This mix is her signature "miscellaneous" style that weaves together jazzy, soulful and funky tunes with hip-hop and dance music classics and even some new tracks too.  A member of The Headspace Collective, Elaine was the production manager and lead sound tech for this side stage.

Miss Elaine Eos Jazz/House fusion set at Domeland at The Great Beyond 2022

Was such a pleasure playing this (relatively) chill set at The Great Beyond, July 29, 2023.  My first time playing during the day felt different and we did not run the stage this year so we were booked in a 4 hour block Saturday called "The Headspace Collective". We split it evenly- Neil played first, Brandi next and then me. They did a great job of keeping it chill. I, as usual, couldn't keep it slow but worked it up for the perfect set up to JayceeLives playing disco, boogie and house.

The very last track is really his first track.  This is what happens when you spend 25 years learning to dj and run radio stations and you get to run a stage with your soulmate and all your friends for 96 hours on the radio.  In the middle of Wisconsin, USA in August. AND it doesn't rain.  Somehow that stage becomes a space ship and you get the 12 am Sunday slot to play during prime time and you blast off into dance music.
