oh god yes!!! I always loved that thinking-man's piano intro. People used terms like 'Intelligent Jungle' later, especially associated with the Bukem/Jazz sound that emerged as the Nineties rolled out; but to me the whole Hardcore/Jungle movement was an intelligent use of samples, ideas and creative editing way before. The term was also a bit disrespectful, even ragga-sampled Jungle could be' intelligent', depending on the way it was written/arranged/produced etc.....anyway, what the hell am I waffling on about?! This track has such a nice melding of Jungle vibes and even happier ones like the piano and acidic riff, unexpected elements....love the mashing of Marvellous Cain with Terrorist, the 2 big Jungle 'classics' present here, the drum edits are swish...hah! Did I just say that? I might need to get more sleep! Tired lately....too much work makes Jack a dull boy. Awesome tune (could have summed it up with 2 words instead!) :D
