Sunday Funday @ KitKat Club

Hey Friends im happy  to finally share my set i played at Rakete. I made a extra Intro for this gig with the voice of Konfusia and some sounds of my Alula tunes release stay silent. I also played some new unreleased own productions for the very first time. The vibe was crazy and the club was awesome. Thanks again to Jason Johnson for inviting me and thanks to all the producers for sending me their music. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed playing it. Hope to be back soon.

Dear Listeners, this is a rear vinyl only live mix from me from our vinyl only party called "Audiotherapie Vinylsitzung". I had a little bit of trouble with people who pumped against the dj booth, and you can listen that in this mix 2 times, also our mixer made troubles about the filter section after 20 minutes of playing. But i was asked by a lot of people to share it, so I don't care about the mistakes, because it's a true vinyl only mix and live. FJAAK, the Berlin-based trio of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade. Having grown up together in Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, Felix Wagner, Aaron Röbig and Kevin Kozicki began quite early to create all different kinds of music before ending up taking on the city’s heritage – techno – to make it their own. It was back then in 2009 at ‘Gewerbe 15’, their 50 qm shared  at studio, where they started to develop their very own distinct sound.
The trio  first cut their teeth in the electronic music scene by organizing illegal raves in and around Berlin, which eventually led them to run their own techno series – Machine Vibes. Based on all hardware setups and vinyl only sets, the series took them not only to clubs beyond the German capital’s borders but all over Europe, steadily growing their reputation and fanbase.
2014 marked the turning point of FJAAK’s career, when 50Weapons bosses Modeselektor decided to take the young trio under their wings. The start of a promising collaboration which saw them release  five critically acclaimed EPs on the label within one and a half years, whilst incessantly travelling the world.
Despite their young age FJAAK have played over 200 live shows, spreading their elaborate analogue sound all around the globe. From Los Angeles to Beijing, from SXSW back to Berghain, FJAAK were there to deliver what has become their trademark: raw, naturally crafted techno!
Their distinctive sound and signature hands-on mentality, as properly captured in their “Against The Clock” feature for FACT Magazine, were reasons enough for BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits to name the trio one of her Future 12 Artists. Over the years the young trio has gained an impressive experience and routine and has much more that is yet to come...
Now, as the concept of techno albums has become widely appreciated, FJAAK  released their self-titled debut full length on 20 January on Modeselektor’s main imprint Monkeytown Records. FJAAK combines the energetic peak- time sound of the trio’s acclaimed Techno singles like “Unten / Oben” with sophisticated breakbeat arrangements and atmospherically dense Ambient textures.

Rosalie and Vera have walked through the meadow of this crazy life since 2013, not only as part of a musical duo but one in their private lives as well. They clicked from the get go and started off as partners in crime on Berlins notorious dance floors. Always front row and with the beat in their hearts. They soon realized they wanted more! It was clear very early that their place was not destined to be in front of the Dj but behind the decks. Then and there they scraped together their last money and bought their first Dj equipment. Soon after they went on a wild ride through the cities main clubs, touring the country and seizing every festival opportunity.

In 2017 Mehr is Mehr joined the Wuza Crew and have since turned a lot of parties into magical places together. Categorizing is usually not their thing but if you had to describe their sound it would go something like this: driving crisp beats paired with melodic elements - techno without monotony and a never ceasing mischievous smile.

Whoever has been exploring the nightlife in the town of Graz and whoever has a taste for high-quality electronic music will certainly have come across one name in recent years: Thomas Tschermonegg a.k.a. Mischkonsum. Unconditional love and affection towards dance music is what made this DiscJockey and producer a force to be reckoned with in the local scene. Having performed at Dom im Berg events and numerous gigs at Postgarage and Niesenberger, Thomas understood how to rock the crowd with his multi-facetted sound-repertoire and did so with Ben Klock, Mind Against, Kölsch and Chris Liebig among others. Therefore, being invited to show his talents in Vienna (at Grelle Forelle, Flex) and Berlin (at Tresor) was not long in coming. Weather deep, melodically playful or truly forceful, Thomas' sets represent the entire spectrum of sophisticated electronic music. This is what he lives for and this is what you hear. An undeniable instinct for the crowd's needs and the tools to satisfy these needs make him achieve his only goal; to let the dancefloor go aflame. Soon to be in a club near you.
