This week on the Ismcast we have Blame The Mono.

Blame The Mono is the result of an uncompromising artistic encounter between two DJs and producers. As members of a new generation decided to push the boundaries of conventional techno, their productions offer forward-thinking sound design and strong stylistic identity through an important blend of influences ranging from Metal, Rock, and Hip Hop to PsyTrance.

Their signature usage of vocals combined with rich song arrangements and sometimes dark, sometimes euphoric moods, make their tracks diverse, yet they all remain fine-tuned for peak-time chaos. The duo’s DJ sets present an explosive selection highlighting their love of digging and showing their will to satisfy the hungriest and sweatiest dancefloors.

Boris is kind of a charismatic, multifunctional weapon in the Berlin club life. His musical roots reach back to the mid 80s. When he visited New York he absorbed the unique spirit of the seminal club Paradise Garage. From the Club’s mentor Larry Levan. Boris learned to believe in his musical intuition as well as a broad musical spectrum, which nowadays ranges from Disco, Hi-NRG, Post-Punk and (Kraut-) Rock to House and Techno, all of which Boris loves to throw into one set. “Music was most important for Levan. He was uncompromising and he knew how to convey it. That’s what I’m trying to achieve, too, when I’m djing.”
Many years later, Boris became a resident at Panorama Bar’s first incarnation in Berlin, where he was able to build a loyal following by playing long sets lasting until noon. “The crowd is always a lot more receptive for music at the end then at the beginning. That’s when I rather have the opportunity to present unusual stuff and that’s when I’m able to let my feelings run freely.”

Blame The Mono is a Franco-British duo shaping the next wave of techno. Their raw, driving sound has landed them on Molekül, Taapion, and Involve Records, with club appearances at RSO, Kompass Club, and Grelle Forelle.

This mix comes ahead of their upcoming EP "Sample and Hold", out on Misguided March 14.

Berlin-based newcomer FANK has been making quiet waves with serious impact. His tracks have been flooding the sets of respected selectors, with releases on BCCO, Life in Patterns, Kysh, and Misguided.

Closely linked to Disguised and with a debut at Tresor Berlin, followed by his first international gigs, FANK is quickly becoming one to watch.

This mix features only original productions by FANK. A deep and groovy dive into his world.

London-born and Scotland-raised, E.DN channels his South American and Middle Eastern roots into a signature sound built on groove and intricate rhythms.

A core member of Scotland’s Parallel Visions, and with releases on SOMA, ĪSARN, and Grab The Groove, E.DN has become a driving force in the UK underground.

For MISLAB MIX 003, E.DN joins the fold with a set that reflects exactly why he’s on our radar.

Vienna-born and now Berlin-based, Specific Objects blends early 2000s influences with hardgroove, dub, and rap to shape a sound that's unmistakably his.

With releases on Mitsubasa, Smile Sessions, and Transition, he's become one of the driving forces in the new wave of groove-focused techno.

For MISLAB MIX 004, he delivers one hour of uncompromised grooves and heavy rhythms.

MISLAB MIX 005 | JAMIE & Lucas Bergen

The Dutch duo JAMIE & Lucas Bergen have been carving out their own space with a sound that fuses hypnotic trance, tribal rhythms, and futuristic hardgroove.

Known for their deep digging and four-deck sets, they’ve built a reputation through appearances at Awakenings, releases on Crisis of Man, and support from heavyweights like Dax J and Daria Kolosova.

Founders of their own imprint Byond Mōmentum, JAMIE & Lucas are shaping a sound rooted in exploration and raw energy.

For MISLAB MIX 005, they deliver a relentless hour of sharp blends and forward-thinking techno.

Originally from Córdoba, Argentina, West Code brings a raw, street-born vision of techno rooted in hip-hop, house, and metallic groove.

Founder of Wangan Club, he has been shaping his own lane since 2014, building a platform for emerging artists across Argentina and beyond.

His sets and productions fuse retro techno, hardgroove, and darker club energy into something immediate and unfiltered. With appearances on HÖR Berlin and shows across Berlin, Madrid, and Eindhoven, West Code is a name spreading fast.

For MISLAB MIX 006, he delivers a proper session that captures exactly what he's about.

March's podcast is mixed by the France based DJ & producer: Hadone (@hadonesector).

Hadone is one of the most interesting new artists in techno, making his way up in quick ascent. Recently he’s been added to the Possession (@intothevalley) family as a resident alongside heavy hitting releases on esteemed labels such as Monnom Black (@monnom-black) and KAOS (@hectoroaks). He’s already set several clubs across the globe alight in the last few months not only as Hadone but also alongside Shlømo (@shl-mo) with their Vipa Diva project.

90s Techno remains his main influence, to which he adds his own touch that we all know. This combination gives us a simple and melancholic result that defines his musical identity, creating his own unique style.
