Record label founded and run by people around Geneva Lake

Heist Recordings was founded by Dam Swindle as a means to gain full control over their own releases, and to create a stage for likeminded musicians to showcase their music. From the first release on, Dam Swindle’s “Break up to make up” EP in summer 2013, Heist has been a go to label for proper underground house and electronic music. Now, nearly 40 releases and 5 compilations in, Heist has brought forward artists like Frits Wentink, Nebraska, Adesse Versions, Fouk, Kassian, Nachtbraker and Alma Negra and continues to search for new talent, with Lars & Maarten fully focused on the A&R side of the label. 

Up till 2016, remixes on the label have been solely done by other original Heist artists on the yearly “Round up EP”, where the remixer and remixee get connected by the luck of the draw and a limited edition double pack is put out. After that, Maarten and Lars decided it was time to add remixers to the EP’s as well, which saw interesting collaboration, expanded the label family with names like Matthew Herbert, Tom Noble, Pépé Bradock, Ge-ology and Byron the Aquarius. 

2023 we've celebrated 10 years of Heist Recordings. The year showed a whole batch of new artists like Byron the Aquarius, Amy Dabbs and Cinthie and Dam Swindle themselves.

Boogie80.com is dedicated to 80’s Funk, Jazz Funk, Disco, Modern Soul and Boogie music.

 This Berlin DJ has built a solid reputation for coming to wreck yourbody. The relationship and interactions between rhythm, groove and body movement are embedded into the Femdelic DNA. After getting the first records from her DJing Dad, Femdelic dived in the rich tapestry of Berlin's record stores and beyond.With each vinyl discovery, she went deeper into the realms of electric boogie, funk and disco music,pulling out hidden gems that would shape her musical identity.

Spaced-out synths, fusion guitar riffs, 80′s electro-funk rhythms … welcome to Amadeo’s universe!
Former graffiti artist, Amadeo grew up around the B-Boys culture, his musical beginnings dating back to the early 2000′s, when he was creating boom-bap hip-hop instrumentals.
Quickly infected by the funk virus, he started digging in the crates and collecting records, and kept on developing his passion for musical creation – he had fallen victim to the incurable disease of music addiction.
Piece by piece, he started to create his own home studio, where vintage synths and keyboards are piling up. He has constantly been making music since 2008, always on the look-out for new sounds.
Influenced by psychedelic funk (G. Clinton, M. Starr, Prince Charles), Bar-Kays-esque warm synths, and crazy Hip-Hop grooves (Bambaata, R. Cason, J. Davis) as well as exploitation movies, graffiti and comic books, each of his tracks develops atmospheres that are equally funky and atypical … Are you ready for the experience?
