I Once Was A Man

Misha Khorramshahi or better known as Mishaxk, is a 17 year old Canadian performing artist. She’s a young, new face in the industry, with a stellar voice and a great range of musical talent. She began singing and performing at the age of 10, continued to excel by learning guitar and piano and now writes and composes her own music. Some of her idols include Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.

 

Misha’s love for music derives from her many mentors and teachers who have pushed her to become a better artist. Growing up, Misha has developed a triple threat persona, constantly being exposed to different art forms that include acting, dancing as well as singing. She routinely posts YouTube videos on her channel that consist of acoustic cover songs of popular music.

 

In 2013, she released a cover song of Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa” on YouTube. Misha soon gained a large fan base after the artist himself tweeted the cover on his official twitter account. This earned her over 92,000 views on that single video and over 500 YouTube subscribers. Misha’s talent is undeniably amazing and she is now ready to showcase her own music to the world

 

On August 12th, Mishaxk released her NEW official single “Your Games” written and produced by her with help of fellow R&B artist Super Jay ("Yo Body", "On the Set", & "Drunk Text"). “Your Games” tells the story of a young girl who is second-guessing the intentions and sincerity of her boyfriend’s actions. Soon, she realizes that she should not have to put up with a man who is clearly no longer dedicated to her and decides to stop playing his games.
