Thomas & I started making music together after we met at a retail store shortly after college. He’s a hip-hop producer & song writer & I produce EDM. After 3 years of making music on our own & collaborating for fun we knew we had found something special. As we started to make more songs & take our sound seriously we decided to form the super duo you see today. Shortly after becoming “Thomas Tha Franchise & EMATA” we won a huge talent contest that was sponsored by wireless giant, T-Mobile. We were chosen by T-Mobile CEO John Legere himself to perform in Maui which also garnered rave reviews. 

By fusing clever lyrics with pop, electronic & hip-hop influences we look to blur the lines & push the creative envelope as producers, writers & artists.
As with any driven or passionate duo, we don’t always agree on everything. Whether it’s the sounds we’re using on a new track, the way the drums kick in after the chorus or visuals for a new design- there’s one thing we've agreed on from the beginning: We want to continue making the music we’re inspired by while remaining a little different & eclectic. From heavy hitting club bangers to emotional strings & synths, follow us as we build the soundtrack to our lives while inspiring you to take yours to the next level.
