C-ERA LEONE born Cierra La’Star on July 2nd, 1987 in Portland, OR raised in Memphis, TN started her long journey within the music industry as a recording artist at the tender age of 11yrs old. The signing of her first record deal at the age of 14 opened many doors and exposed C-era to the inner workings of the music industry at a very early age. During her contractual period with Laroug Guillotine, C-era was involved with and worked alongside projects for most of the most noted people from Memphis, TN and in the Music Industry at that time. This list of people includes La’Chat(recording artist formally of Grammy Award Winning Three Six Mafia), Kia Shyne(recording artist & producer formally of Universal Records &co-CEO with rapper/CEO Jack Frost of Rap Hustlaz), Justin Timberlake(recording artist formally of NSYNC-JIVE records), Brandy Rayana Norwood- known professionally as Brandy(singer-songwriter, producer, actress, and dancer Atlantic Records), Jonathan Richmond-known professionally as Jon Rych(Angie Stones Producer, industry keyboardist & singer songwriter) and G. Wallace( formally A&R Director / Def Jam South). Being surrounded by these individuals gave C-era a front row seat to the business side of the industry. It taught her the importance of building relationships within the industry, loyalty, and most important sales ability. C-era began giving detailed ideas and plans to the CEO over the label on how to market the label as a whole and each signed artist’s project individually. Given her age at the time the CEO was a bit skeptical about financially bagging her ideas. He soon decided to go with C-era’s ideas and plans for the label due to the fact that each plan she submitted not only took care of its own start-up capital but also increased product sales and publicity over 75% more than what the record company at the time was bringing in. Amazed by C-era’s plans he assigned her as the promotional manager over the label. At this time C-era was only 15yrs old. Two years later, at the end of her contract 17yr C-era Leone decided to not resign with Laroug Guillotine due to unknown issues and made a vow to learn as much about marketing and promotion to insure longevity for her career within the industry. Two years later, C-era(age 19) decided to start her own marketing, promotions, and model management company in a small apartment in Memphis, TN. C-era immediately grasped the attention of many small business owners, underground labels and artists, models, and startup companies locally in Memphis, TN by implementing different marketing strategies online to gain familiarity in her area. One year after starting La’Eras Marketing and Promotion C-era bought out another local company heartthrob graphic and web design. A year after that C-era was contacted by the Owner of Speaker-rrr-Freak Entertainment, a local corporation housing many different businesses within the entertainment industry. C-era was offered the position of a Director over marketing/promotions, given a chair on the corporations board, and given a percentage off of the company’s total income in addition to payment per event she set up for the company. C-era stuck with the company for two years however, she resigned after many of her marketing plans were not implemented due to the decisions of the CEO and she projected a nose dive within the company. The month she resigned C-era (age 23) was hired as an intern for C.T.E (Young Jeezys Label: corporate thug entertainment) DJ Fahrenheit and Hot 247.net’s nationwide talent showcase titled “MAKING THE NEXT HIT”. As an intern the company gave C-era two weeks to see what she could do in Memphis, TN to assist the showcase and make it bigger. C-era implemented a marketing plan and by the given deadline blew the managers and CEO’s away. By the end of a nation-wide tour, C-era was given Top Promoter in the United States Award and offered a position to work with the showcase the next season.  She decided to pursue other options. By this time C-era was living in Atlanta, GA were she’d was contacted by Marketing Minded Individuals, a marketing company in Atlanta, GA and offered a position as a marketing specialist assigned help design a new marketing plan for Black Shire (former background singers for the Artist Formally known as Prince). After her first talk with the clients C-era was given the job to complete and create the entire marketing plan for the duet in which she completed to the likeness of management. Her marketing techniques not only provided a immediate projection of revenue and growth within the first, targeted in depth all areas of promotion and marketing from online to ground, but also implemented innovation and scientifically research reasons and strategies that would insure the groups success. The same year C-era (age 24) landed the attention of a company TEMP MUSIC MANAGEMENT and presented a marketing strategy to the owner which not only gave artist and producers great opportunities but aided in well needed branding for his company. C-era was instantly given position as a program director and Marketing director over the new program and has actively been working alongside A&R representatives, VP’s and Presidents from companies such as ROCNATION (Omar Grant Director of A&R), The Island Def Jam (Lenny Santiago SR Director of A&R), Shady Records (Riggs Morales A&R), and Bad Boy (Conrad Dimenche V.P over A&R), through her association with Scoe Walker. In addition to these many accomplishments and relationships C-era has landed throughout her Career in the entertainment industry C-era also sits on the board of Directors over marketing for Micah the non-profit organization based in Memphis, TN and is currently working with Joy Records (gospel record label) as a marketing specialist. Currently Joy records is in a negotiation period with DefJam Records and Sony Records for major deals and it is no secret that C-era Leones marketing plans have a lot to do with sealing the deals. C-era Leone has so far left a very impressive track record within the entertainment industry and it was recently noted through a source who wishes to remain undisclosed however one of the most powerful men in the music industry that C-era Leone will be one the most powerful and influential women in the entertainment industry before the end of her career.

Crysty’s love of music started early in life, but it was her talent of putting words together in a lyrical flow, that would give her the reputation as a top lyricist in her neighborhood of southeast Washington, DC. While most girls her age were still playing with dolls. Crysty was posted up in a studio headphones on and microphone in hand spitting anti drugs lyrics that she wrote herself. Crysty was given the opportunity to appear at the Historic Apollo Theater, at age 11 where her performance drew such a huge response, that she was asked to return for another appearance. During Crysty’s teen years she displayed many more of her talents of modeling and  joined the DC Youth Orchestra were she played Upright Bass playing at many festivals and talent shows, but it was her love for hip hop that she would leave Washington DC, and move to New York city to pursue her dream, hip hop. Crysty interned for record labels Def Jam and Universal, were she gained experience of how the music industry works from the inside. While living in New York Crysty was privileged to get the opportunity to collaborate, and record with some of hip hops heavy hitters such as Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Memphis Bleek and Just Blaze to name a few. Currently, Crysty is back in Washington, DC were she has formed Lady Capital Entertainment her own independent label  under which she plans on releasing her long awaited project “Can’t Knock Her Hustle”

Since December 1, 1992, he has formed Marshall Arts Music Productions producing some of the hottest up and coming artists in Chicago. Under this production label, he began to build musical relationships with National Recording Artists such as Jive recording artists Public Announcement, Bad Boy Entertainment’s spoken word artists Malik Yusaf and Avant to name a few. 
While maintaining a strong music relationship with them, he joined BMI June of 1997 and began to build his production catalog. Beginning the new millennium 2000 year as a trend setter, DJ Hershey became Chicago’s #1 E2 nightclub resident DJ influenced by DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mike Love and Steve “Silk” Hurley. Soon after he was hired as Windycitytv.com Program Director/Head and Disc Jockey/Personality, positioning him as a major influence in the internet radio phenomenon in Chicago. 

As an award winning DJ, he has rocked the spot for the hottest acts in the industry along side Sean Puffy Combs, Avant, R Kelly, Jay Z, Usher and countless others! He is also noted for being the first major internet DJ to open live chat rooms to interact with the listeners of his Live Streaming “Kiss Radio Show”. This bold move created heightened interest from both major and independent record labels to want to include their headliner and rising artists’ music on their rosters. DJ Hershey was then introduced and welcomed by ASCAP’s Vice President of Creative Film/TV & Special Projects, Jeanie Weems (Los Angeles) in the spring of 2002, 

Hershey was recognized and accepted for his creative influence by ASCAP and by the guidance of the former manager of OUTKAST and ASCAP’s Director of Creative Affairs; Ian Burke, I (Atlanta) to polish his craft. More of his accomplishments began as a VIP member of NARAS (GRAMMY) Chicago chapter, Team leader and account representative for the number one Entertainment Marketing Team (Jaguar Entertainment) in the Midwest and Soul Selector DJ Crew member. He produced and scored his first Movie Soundtrack for comedy independent film "2 Getogther" written by BET Comic B. Cole in the summer of 2002, and the second score and soundtrack which was released in 2006-07. 

Hershey worked with Oprah's "Make a Wish Foundation" to grant a wish of an inspiring R&B artist and also was nominated for a Grammy with the Gerald Levert "Didn’t We" Remix. His work does not stop here. As a DJ, the number one DJ Coalition Midwest representative Malik Shabazz of Core DJ’s recruited Hershey May of 2006 to further his professional artistry career as a DJ in the Chicago area with the world wide accredited Core DJs!

As a producer in 2011, he is now working with a major Atlanta based production team to create more amazing music with industry heavy hitters!  He has also been added to the Scratch Academy Celebrity DJ Roster in Chicago and currently working on a new autobiographical feature film.
