Live At Envision 2015

This mix is what I played for the opening set at Envision on the Lotus Stage at 3:30pm (minus a couple song and I added a different ending track.) It was recorded a month upon returning from Costa Rica. It starts with housy beats and ends with a mix of mid-tempo breaks for an easy transition to Frankie Dubs who followed my set with a hip hop vibe.

The mix was recorded using two tech 1200s, a Pioneer DJM 800 mixer in one take. No editing was done; only a bit of mastering. I wasn't sure about releasing the mix to the public and wanted to try recording a second time, but after listening to it fa few times, I think it's actually pretty good and I hope you will enjoy it :)

Miss KosmiK ENVISION Festival 2015 Opening Set

"My favorite set that we played this year at Burning Man was at Robot Heart. It was probably the only set that I really prepared for with Walshy Fire.

I'll be honest I was a lil nervous because I really wanted to make it run with energy for the full two hours and our typical audience isn't that used to a classic dub and reggae set. Myself and the whole RH crew wanted to create something really special for a sunset party and keep it true to the theme but to still feel like a Robot Heart set. The Robot Heart crew had told me that they wanted and entire set that sounded like "Major Lazer - Get Free" and I had to think hard about it. To keep the vibe going for two hours and for that record to be the climax was a challenge but I realized if you stick to your guns for the whole party and steer the audience in a direction and keep them with you, then anything is possible.  I hope you love it.. It's perfect for a party on a Sunday afternoon and represents a different side of Major Lazer"

The KosmiK journey began in Quebec in 1996 when she organized the first rave in her hometown of Chicoutimi and has been rocking the frequency ever since.
