Zouzounee is a music project founded by female solo artist, visual artist, media producer and vocalist Zou. Blending and fusing together a variety of styles within the electronica genre, Zouzounee’s unique sound - coined ‘ZOUMOUZIK’ - takes on elements of downtempo, trip hop, lounge, chill-out, ambient, R&B, soul, electro-pop, synth-pop and jazz to carve out a thrilling and mesmerising genre of its very own.
Zou’s intentions behind Zouzounee are experimental: she uses her foundation of professional composition and production skills as a springboard for playing with multi-genre influences and creative inspirations. This instinctive form of experimentation results in the quirky, timeless and arresting styles and visuals heard in ZOUMOUZIK.

His beginnings, though, were humble. Born in Seychelles Island, music was always deeply woven into the life of ROY L, having studied music throughout his life. A simple introduction to FL Studios would prove to be the start of a new chapter in his book. Very shortly after that, he fell in love with EDM, progressive house, and EDM music. The rest was history.

Perhaps that is why when you listen to one of ROY L’s songs they tend to stand out. Yes, they are good; and yes they, simply, make you want to dance, but there is something more buried within them, a sense of purpose and drive behind every note.
