MISSING OBJECTS is a new Brazilian Techno label with the mission to launch tracks by artists who have been actively developing and inspiring Techno underground scene - a portrait of what is going on in the Brazilian Techno parties. Our journey starts with the single MISSING OBJECTS witch also names the Label, an EP by the label curators LOST MY KEYS. Lost my Keys is a Brazilian duo , that has been playing its live performance with a hardware-only setup composed by synthesizers, drum machines and samplers, with an innovative approach on arrangements, sound design and dynamics, that has been very well received by Brazilian techno fans. This first single 'Missing Objects' incorporates a bit of the dynamics of Lost my Keys shows. Drums and percussions have been recorded from studio jams, and added by a TB-303 sequence created live during one of their shows. Both the original mix and the extended distorted version count only with the drums/percussion and a 303 sequence recorded in one-shot, processed by effects pedals - distortions, delay and reverb. To facilitate mixing and incentivize creativity, Lost my Keys also makes available a "Syntapella", which is the one-shot recorded 303 sequence used in the 'extended distorted version', so you can play it together with whatever other tracks/drums you prefer, and also have a glance of how Lost my Keys manipulates a single 16-beat 303 loop to explore a variety of sounds in their live sets.
