Biografie

No Nick Name (1983) was born as Nick Wagemans in a small town in the southern part of the Netherlands. At the age of 16, Nick bought his first turntables. Around that time he started to hit the road with a friend, playing all the big hits of the nineties. Back then it was already clear to him that dance music appealed to him the most.

But even though he loved his spot at the turntables, at the age of 19 he decided to quit the music scene for a while to focus on work and school. Still he could never really forget his love for music and so, in 2009, he decided he had to do something about it. With the music scene changing and the realization that most great DJ’s have to produce their own music to stand out from the crowd, he started producing his first tracks. First mainly minimal (produced under the artist name: 4Dimensions), later on also deep, tech and techno.

With his producing skills growing and the wish to get his music out there, it was time to return to the turntables… and so No Nick Name was born.

| Sound |
No Nick Name is constantly pushing the boundaries in his process of making music. This makes for a unique sound that is best described as a combination of the soothing flow of minimal, and the deep vibes of techno and deep tech. Always telling a story and guiding you to a higher state of mind. 

| Producer |
After much hard work…. No Nick Name’s first EP (''Be Patient'') was released at Ella Unique on March 2016. The second track was released at Monotoon Recordings (July 2019) and goes by the name ''Undefined''.

| TechXclusive |
In 2014 he founded, along with a few close friends, the organization TechXclusive. With the purpose to organize events with the finest deep, tech and techno music with an Xclusive ambience for Xclusive people. TechXclusive’s first event has been a rousing success and took place on January 24, 2015. There was a second event on 28 October 2016, another one on 1 July 2017 and the last event was on 30 March 2019.
