Truly amazing stuff from one of my favorite artists, Durandal. His work is always extremely sub-heavy and sinister. Rich blends of crushing lows, creepy synths, and a wide variety of atmospheric sounds and vibes. This tune is one of my favorites of his that I've ever heard, which is saying something because a ton of them are very intense and addicting. Outstanding work time and time again, I highly suggest checking out all of his other music, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. Soundsystem lovers got their appetite well and truly whet when Deep Medi announced news of a new @Kaijudub LP — 'Seven Sins'. The dubplate fanatic duo, Jamie Schildhauer and Paul White, have been mining the low end since around 2011, recently signing to the renowned bass/dubstep label for a couple of single releases, but are now offering up their debut full-length. The longplayer sees the pair team up with Jack Gates, Gantz, Total Science and Riya — and if we tell you there's seven (deadly) tracks on the LP, we probably don't need to tell you what they're called. 'Sloth', which we're premiering today, makes use of hypnotic, reverberating drum taps and shadowy vocal snarls.

Subway Recordings is no more. The biggest dubstep record label of The Netherlands recently announced to close doors. They leave behind a legacy in sound as they pushed a total of 45 releases, while they are going out with a banging final release on the 11th of May 2018. Bukez Finezt’ “Under Control” EP has been one of Subway’s most praised showpieces and it is now getting an impressive remix treatment, which proves the dubstep classic is today more relevant than ever. Obviously we couldn’t let this release pass by unnoticed so we got in touch with label owner Geoffrey van der Tuuk a.k.a. Nicon who proudly looks back on 10 years of Subway Recordings.
