This is more then a mix! It's also a personal statement from a simple dj to all labels and copyright enforcers.
To be clear this is not youtube's fault:
- Lately youtube managed to show how monetization can be profitable for the artists and the labels.
- Many that could see that this is good and profitable (as opposed to negative) are now receiving profits that otherwise they would never get.
- The label and the artist can get more money for their work, not only limited to album sales, monetizing mixes on youtube - and other platforms - can be an all new cascade of revenue.

Sadly some labels still live in the past and enforce a negative policy of blocking all their signed artists worldwide!
I wish this mix can bring some awareness, to that labels and their enforcers:
- enforce monetizing, protect musicians but give'm a voice on the world wide web!

Still, if you are the label or the artist and want your tune out of this mix just let me know and i'll take the mix down!

Last, a message to all my fellow dj's:
- When doing a mix please take the time to give the proper credits to the artists, by means of a simple tracklist.
If you don't do this you are not promoting the artists and the labels, you are only promoting yourself!

South Yard is proud to be back with our third release in which we join forces with 2 of the most prolific artists on the reggae & jungle scene for the main track of the release called "Bring Dem". 

First up we have the mexican Isaac Maya who is touring Latin America at the moment and is going to be touring Europe for the 5th time in the next months. Isaac Maya is the head honcho of Low Frequency Recordings where many of the current producers have started their career in the ragga jungle scene. He´s been playing his music at gigs all around the world for the latest 20 years and he is the main reference in México speaking about drum and bass. 

Daddy Freddy was born in Jamaica and is now based in the UK. He has been in the business since 1985 by releasing loads of tunes including big collaborations from the likes of Dr. Dre, Cypress Hill or Mungo´s Hifi to name a few. Also, he has been known as the world´s fastest rapper on the 90´s. We feel pleased to have this badman on board for our next release! 
This time the duo has created a fat pumpy banger combining dancehall & jungle vibes to blaze the fire on the dancefloor. Amen break patterns and dread bass style lead the track while the dancehall beat comes up on the breakdowns.

Both tunes have been mastered by Loud Dynamics.

El segundo y pero no menos importante, Daddy Freddy, nacido en Jamaica y residente en UK. 
Lleva en la escena desde 1985, con toneladas de temas a las espaldas incluyendo grandes colaboraciones con músicos de la talla de Dr. Dre, Cypress Hill o Mungos Hi-Fi por nombrar algunos, además de que en los 90’ fue nombrado el rapero más rápido.

Este dúo de titanes han creado un temazo combinando las dancehall vibes con ritmos y bajos junglist para quemar la pista de baile. Amen breaks y líneas de bajos old school dirigen el tema mientras el beat de dancehall aparece en los parones.
