Here's something different - it's a Catacombs replacement for my project "The Binding of ezaK". I have 2 other themes for this project, which I'll try to upload soon enough.

The project is just me making takes on themes from The Binding of Isaac, which is my favourite game of all time and the main reason why I don't upload that often currently.

This theme was originally supposed to be the Ashpit replacement, but I thought it didn't really fit and sounded too upbeat. I think Catacombs fits a little bit better. It's not my proudest work, but I think it's alright!

📌About the "Legacy" project:
Greetings, people! Ever since 2019, I've been slowly moving towards original tracks instead of Undertale-themed ones. That has transition has only increased in recent years. As of today, I finished around 125 of them. However, all of that has been happening in the background, many of them never saw the light of day and had only been shared around friends or servers.

That's where the new "Legacy" project comes in. I want to publish some of my best creations from before 2021. All tracks will have a note in the title, including its date of creation. Why? Well, as good as some of these tracks are, they're still outdated in many terms; I don't want people to think they're recent.

📌Context:
I imagine the track as a group of silly ghosts approaching you on a graveyard or a haunted mansion. Thinking that they're about to haunt you, you quickly back off and run, just to be cornered by the ghouls yet again. To your surprise, the lost souls just want to treat you to some music they've came up with! Each of them playing in their own unique way.

📌About the theme:
Anyway - let's actually dive right into this specific theme! I made it around a year ago. As far as I remember, it was to test out some of my newly acquired plugins (Perfect Drums, Odin II). I wanted to publish it on Halloween, but I think I was too busy and simply forgot.

I'm really proud of it, even to this day! Hence why I'm uploading it near halloween of this year! I think the motifs still hold up really well, the transitions flow nicely and the instrumentation is neat too. I even added a 7/4 part in there, pretty sure that was my first time doing so!

As for the name, I'm pretty certain it was based on some audio file with the name "Who Said Ghosts *Can* Sing". Not sure where it's from nor can I find it now 🤔 If anyone knows, hit me up!

okay so what the fuck is this
You see, funny story actually! Sometime last year, I was just laying in bed, next to my awesome radiator.
When I suddenly felt like playing some drum pattern on it. It actually sounded really cool, so I quickly went and recorded it to make a theme out of it. And here it is.

I don't know what I was smoking, but I wanted to make some psychedelic horror theme, hence the name as well. I think it turned out surprising well haha
If you wanna listen to how it sounds without the bitcrush, you can hear the radiator beat in all its glory on my alt account - (soon)

Hey there! To accompany the release of my newest video, I decided to use this 2-year-old track as its outro theme. And I guess that warrants an upload here as well.

The track is an original piece for a little project of mine called "Dungeon! Dungeon!". There's much more information about it on my Discord Server (https://discord.gg/K6nvNfy), but below's a summary of what it's about.

📌About "Dungeon! Dungeon!":
Dungeon! Dungeon! (or D!D! for short) is a rogue-like game concept I've come up with a while ago. Currently, I've written a few story pieces, made some concept art, and composed a bunch of tracks for the project.

You play as Sir Kandelite who, after hearing the terrible news from his friend, willingly steps into a cold and dark dungeon, wielding only his trusty sword and a candle on top of his head.

As I said earlier, the game would be a rouge-like game, similar to The Binding of Isaac or Zelda (at least that's the plan for now). The game will include at least 4 separate dungeons (possibly multiple levels per dungeon) with 4 special levels in between each, then a boss at the end, of course.

When will I start working on it? I have absolutely no idea! Probably not in the near future. For now, I hope you'll enjoy the music and concepts I made for it! There will be more to come.

📌Context:
The game over screen will be Kandelite's sword stuck in the ground, forming a makeshift cross. His candle will be slowly dying out beneath it.

📌About the theme:
A simple piano theme. Tried to make it sound more or less realistic. I think I did okay. Really proud of the name though! As is customary with my VGMs, the track loops.
