Formed in the winter of 2003 by four individuals sharing a love of film soundtracks and musical histrionics, Motion Picture Soundtrack have since gone on to record several EP's, two full length albums, played 100s of live shows including a BBC Introducing slot at Reading & Leeds Festival and Maida Vale session, been played on BBC Radio 1 & BBC6 Music by Zane Lowe and Lauren Laverne respectively and won the Camden Crawl Emerging Talent DIY award for best DIY artist.
 
Comprised of Alastair Blackwood (vocals), Nick Watts (guitar), Will Hasler (bass) Graeme Blackwood (drums)  and based in Canterbury, Kent - the band make a noise not dissimilar to Arcade Fire and Sigur Rós performing the score to Christopher Nolan's 'Inception'.
