Thiago is skilled in music technology (e.g., Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Vienna Ensemble Pro, etc...), and holds a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring with a Minor in Conducting and a Master of Music focused in Scoring for Films, Television and Video Games from Berklee College of Music.

He is currently pursuing his PhD in Music Composition at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
