One of New York’s most romantic and exhilarating electronic sounds, DJ Python (@worldwideunlimited) makes his debut this year on XL Recordings with the EP "i was put on this earth". On this record, he gently forays into uncharted territory as a singer, producer, and collaborator, an evolution made all the more impressive in light of his groundbreaking musical projects to date, such as "Mas Amble", "Angel", and "Club Sentimientos Vol. 2". While splitting his time between New York and London, Python has teamed up with a diverse set of collaborators, including South London rapper Jawnino, Honduran-born powerhouse Isabella Lovestory, unclassifiable songwriter Organ Tapes, and NYC mainstay Physical Therapy. @carmenvillain is an artist based in Norway who has been releasing on @smalltownsupersound since 2013. Her most recent album ‘Both Lines Will Be Blue’ saw her expand her unique brand of contemporary psychedeliaca even further, luxuriating in the sensuous soundscapes that she creates while also experimenting with music concrete and avant-garde techniques. A remix EP will be released this Friday 28th February that features some of Villain’s favourite dance producers. Her mix for Bleep channels her affection for club music, with just over an hour of trippy, rhythmically astute sounds from a range of contemporary musicians.
