Singularity Approaches : A solo project by Mitchell of TATWD

Made on FL studio mobile and a toy voice manipulator and voice pitch for background audio. Some side solo stuff by (Mitchell) while I'm waiting on two tracks to come back from being worked on by secret members of the Machine Talks project (its not that serious a secret its a couple of life long friends of mine that I haven't done music with in a couple decades). I still would like to do a new song every day even if its not on the current project or projects with Tidus. So I will still be uploading fairly regularly.

Why's It So Strange?

Two tracks on one day is out of the normal scope for me but I had time today... Guess i could have done chores but those are not going anywhere. So here is a second song cause why the heck not?

My Casio digital watch makes another cameo appearance in this track. It most definitely happens and no, I never ever edit it out or run a second take that would be rude of me. Sometimes she wants to sing as well.

Covalent Bond

More solo stuff...

the background audio is a Catholic AM radio station (broadcasting through an emergency crank radio) starting off by selling the last remaining (still expensive) cabins for a Catholic Cruise. they then get into the topic of how they are not looking to shame or brutalize women into having more children but they do know one thing: The more children you have the more you win; Jesus wants you to be a winner. 

Interesting piece of media for ya there.
this is used to create a certain layer to the music that, on the surface, no one really bothers with actually making out the words. If you do that's extra awesome! this was the first recording I played directly to the track without forethought. Therefore, there is no premeditated meaning or purpose conveyed.  I have one kid, but I don't want any more for a million and one reasons... and if you have none that is good too... Don't let these goofballs ruin your day, you are doing just fine! but an interesting pull from the radio none the less!

Coincidentally 6 months ago I was staying at a hotel and there were tons of elderly Catholic couples, some singles, staying there the day before leaving on a cruise. I was being weird and taking pictures down at the lobby so that I could maybe use it somewhere for something strange like this.

Was It Ever, Really?

Just another little something for the project. I'll pop it right in here with the others. My kid had a pretty bad fever today but thankfully it has gone down but he was definitely lost in the frying pan for a short while. Im excellent company and hospitable to any fellow temporarily out of their mind so I made sure the little dude was comfortable while he was making it through.  Hopefully we can do Halloween tomorrow, but if not we will still have a jolly old time recovering at home. threw this together once he was finally able to get a little sleep.

In Nihongo "Deska?" or 'Desu ka?' means on varying context "to be?", "I see", "Is that so?" the context here supports all three.

Unless that is wrong and then this song just has a rhythmic audio segment:p. 

Another track for the Topple solo project. This one is combined to its previous track. Always trying things on for size but when I'm quick to morph to the dimensions of the vessel its had to tell how I'll ever actually fit...

Modern Skies/Ancient Lands (Stage 2)

This is the third and final stage for the three stage tracks. Going to be taking a little step sideways for a moment. It was very cathartic and refreshing to have the time for crafting and expressing my thoughts with you all. I am always very humbled and grateful for you all, the listeners, for taking moments out of your life to share these moments!

Used my hand crank powered emergency radio to tune into any AM station that I could wrangle in. Doing these spontaneous radio recordings for tracks is always a fun a special moment to record as it unfolds! This capture was of an AM radio Spanish rosary prayer.
I have always found prayer from any religion is peaceful, contemplative and attempts to reach out and communicate with something we feel is greater than ourselves....


Spiritual Timeshare

🔥👁👁🐢🐢Crystals Of Time project is finished and now The Stylophone Sessions Vol. 1 has commenced.  This new project will consist of jam sessions with our three Stylophones and occasionally (possibly) other instruments we have around the house.
