Having begun his musical journey in Dublin   
After playing with several bands as a drummer including The School Kids and the legendary Berlin, not to mention playing 6 gigs for U2 whilst deputising for Larry Mullins, and appearing in several books covering the Irish Rock scene, Charlie then made the move to London following the break up of Berlin where he began writing and recording more material.
During this time, his friend Mathew Ashman from Adam and The Ants and Bow Wow Wow, brought him into the studio and produced and played guitar on his first self-composed recording “Move On”
After taking a break from the music industry, Charlie made a return in 2010 when he supported  Boomtown Rats Roberts +Crowe on a European Tour.  This was followed by his first  album EXILE which transcended to Rollingexile when he assembled a band to tour and promote it.
The release of the second Rollingexile album HARDLINE which was toured in Europe and the USA Throughout 2017

Casino Moon are undoubtedly an exciting band. Go to a gig and witness the rich song-writing talent and energetic, addictive melodies combining eclectic sounds of folk and Americana. It’s a unique sound that will leave you wanting more.

Although recently conceived, this musical journey stretches back many years. Experimenting and developing traditional folk patterns around the power of the rhythmic picking guitar, combining modern, cross-genre influences. Not an easy feat. The result combines some of London’s finest musicians with accolades including appearing on BBC 6 Music and performing at major festivals. Casino Moon is certainly a unique venture – one you won’t want to miss.
