Martin was formally trained in the art of sound design and music production at Bath Spa University. He then went on to work at the world beating London music studio Metropolis. Leaving the studio and London behind Martin moved back to the countryside where he worked as a freelance sound designer working on projects for Google, Yahoo!, the 2012 Olympics. 

'With Sun' is the artist name of song writer Alice Hale. Alice, daughter of Keith Hale who wrote ‘It’s a Mystery’ (Toyah), attended the Brit School, and made her first album: In the Real World (2009: iTunes, Spotify). This album included tracks recorded in Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Bath.
