It’s never easy to find the right track to put out after being inactive for so long, it was actually a friend that reach out to me out of the blue, it caught me off guard but it motivated me to record a track. I’ve been doing a lot of writing collaborations, even got to perform a few times since Corona, hopefully I can complete some more tracks soon that I have scheduled for SoundCloud, this one is back to my roots, a style I feel comfortable with, love and want to learn more n more about. The mix on this one was done relatively quickly, I actually used my phone to listen if I could hear everything clearly, idk if that’s the best strategy but I’m spoiled by the sound my monitors make so switched it up. A little on the content, this song is about having a good time, smiling n smiling some more, I drew a lot of inspiration from one of my favorite YouTubers Roman Atwood, I used to watch his vlogs every day, n he’d always end his video with his catchphrase “Smile More” :) I have a friend named VInny who would sketch smiley faces on everyone's notebook, anywhere on the page he could reach, so here’s to that! I hope this song reminds you a bit of your good days n makes you feel great and excited to take on a new day :)
