Who’s in the house? VINNY JAMES is in the house!

Vinny James – Born in Rotterdam (1986) – Has been crazy about music from an early age. During his childhood, Vinny soon discovered that he wanted to do much more with this. Vinny dreamed of a successful career as a disc jockey and decided to pursue his dreams. As a teenager of only 15 years, Vinny bought his first records and was immediately sold! His weekends were then given a fixed interpretation: playing and listening to tracks for hours and hours and together with friends to the Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam so they could buy the latest vinyl records. The good old days! The record stores in Rotterdam did some really good business because of Vinny cause from that moment on he never let go of his dreams.

Now more than 18  years later he developed his sound. Vinny played real house music, which in recent years has been further developed into deep house, tech house and booming techno. Everything he does he does it with his heart, but gets his inspiration from other talented artists as well. Interaction with the audience, how to get the audience moving and enjoying the music is one of the most important things for Vinny James. In addition, his mission as a DJ is clear: he wants to achieve the following with his target group: “Is Vinny James playing today? Then I’ll be there!” More people on the dance floor guarantees more love!

Five years after purchasing the records, Vinny came in contact with Club VIE Rotterdam; the perfect location to play his house music. Club VIE was – certainly at the time- a leader in the Dutch entertainment scene. It was a great success for Vinny; and in no time he was a resident DJ and played here for over 5 to 6 years. Partly because of Club VIE , where he stood with (inter)national great artist, his final dream was another step closer! After his period at Club Vie, Vinny became a resident DJ at 1NUL8 in Rotterdam for more than 5 years. This new challenge ultimately ensured that the bookings kept coming. Vinny is booked weekly at many great events and in the best clubs. Vinny stands for professionalism and enthusiasm as entertainer, with high quality sets that can be heard on his official Soundcloud channel.

Styvër is a current Houstonian DJ/Promoter with an unyielding connection to her Canadian and Dutch roots. Her passion for music along with her open, free, yet ambitious take on life runs deep through her veins, bones, and DNA through a long line of family Musicians.  However, it wasn't until the start of 2015, that Styvër surrendered to her heart's true love and plunged deep into the euphoric abyss of DJing.  She quickly made her presence known and has since been gaining recognition as a top contributor to the preservation of quality sounds, authentic style, and to staying true to all things underground.  Styvër is without a doubt creating her own signature splash to the ever-growing ripple effect being formed by Houston's present House & Techno resurgence.

Her fierce ability to push boundaries paired with a real ear for music, drives a rare pallet of sounds and a refreshing range to our senses that hits home for true house lovers and dancers.  Styvër attributes much or her inspiration to legends such as Osunlade, Nina Kraviz, Levon Vincent, Nicolas Jaar, Detroit Swindle, and DJ Koze.

She currently holds a residency at Houston's treasured slice of bohemia, The Flat, and promotes for a few forward thinking parties and venues.  Keep an eye on her Sunday weekly event, The Butterfly Effect, which features an all-female DJ lineup paired with a smoked BBQ and vegetarian pop-up menu catered by acclaimed chef, Ben McPherson - with all DJ proceeds benefitting charity!



When the nightlights lure you in and a roaring bassline sets your pulse racing, there’s nothing left to do but to answer that call. And so, that’s what Dutch DJ and producer DJ Taz did. Clocking up an average 150 gigs a year under his DJ Taz moniker, he lives and breathes all that is electronic dance music.   

Inspired by his father, who was a professional drummer, it didn’t take long for Taz to be caught by the music bug. Switching the drum kit for a pair of DJ decks at the age of 13 might have been the best decision he’s ever made though. Perfecting his DJ skills and learning all the ropes of music technology, it’s no wonder that he wanted to take his hobby to a professional level. 

An A-class performer, praised for his energetic appearance behind the decks, driven to bring only the very best of what today’s melting pot of dance music has to offer. He packs house, urban, R&B, club and EDM and turns it all into a fine blend.
