On February 24, 2022, at 5 am, Russian bombs began to fall on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. The perfidious invasion of Russian troops forever changed the history and face of this country. Every day, civilians and soldiers who defend their homeland are getting killed. This war is senseless and merciless. No decent person can remain indifferent. The Chitra Records label also took on a small mission of helping to rebuild Ukraine. We teamed up with ambient and neoclassical musicians from all over the world and released a two-hour compilation of calming, peaceful, and experimental ambient music. Our goal is to raise funds for the civilians of Ukraine. All proceeds from the digital sales of the compilation on Bandcamp for the first two weeks from the release date (until March 21, 2022) will be sent to the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.

Veelargo es un productor de música electrónica español que reside en Polonia (Cracovia) desde 2016, después de haber vivido en Inglaterra dos años.

Empezó a interesarse por la música siendo adolescente y su pasión por ella le llevó primero a pinchar y gradualmente a producir. Sus influencias son muy variadas y van desde el IDM, Ambient, Electro o Techno, al Krautrock, EBM o Post Punk.

Para Veelargo, componer música electrónica es sinónimo de libertad absoluta y lo considera como constante aprendizaje, rigiéndose por cierta disciplina basada en constancia para aprender y mejorar su técnica.

Para el segundo podcast de Mutoscope Records, Veelargo ha grabado en exclusiva un directo de sus propias producciones (algunas aún inéditas). Durante la escucha, la primera conclusión es más que evidente, Veelargo rehúye lo convencional y promueve su evolución creativa desde el extremo.

Veelargo inunda al oyente con un gran acopio de sonidos orgánicos, por momentos hipnóticos y transparentes, administrándolos a la perfección con percusiones procesadas y melodías preciosistas. En cuanto al planteamiento rítmico, el artista mantiene la atención del oyente a través de medios tiempos y estructuras más complejas y contundentes, que en algunas ocasiones se retuercen en pedazos, siendo éstos los instantes más arriesgados del live.

Lo más relevante es que todos los elementos, sonidos e ideas de este directo identifican un sonido propio, dejando entrever la inquietante personalidad de su creador durante todo el desarrollo del mismo.
