Numa Gama é uma artista multimídia e polímata sonora natural de Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. Nos últimos nove anos, ela construiu uma extenso histórico de lives e DJ sets em 36 cidades ao redor do mundo e lançou um catálogo mutante de discos de vinil, mixtapes, EPs e uma fita cassete, em selos como bié Records, e Chill Mountain Rec. Pode-se dizer que sua música é definida por um sound design meticuloso, desconstruções eletrônicas e camadas pontuais de sua voz. Da mesma forma, foi descrita no Bandcamp Daily como "faixas de clube flexíveis que escorrem com uma cativante malícia" (2016) que “cultivam um mundo humido e convidativo” (2024). No entanto, há uma chance de que não tenha soado assim para alguém que a tenha visto ao vivo. Manifestando uma profunda e exêntrica pesquisa musical, as aparições de Numa Gama nunca deixam de surpreender.

Kirk Barley (aka Church Andrews) is a Yorkshire-born composer and sound artist. Under his own name he produces textural, organic work, formed from processed studio and field recordings. As Church Andrews he produces synthetic, often beat-focussed music, using digital synthesis and algorithmic compositional techniques. For both projects, he draws influences from jazz, minimalism, techno and hip hop, while experimenting with time signatures, temporals and tuning systems to create a unique and compelling soundworld.

This is jamaican dub from the mid 70ies to the early 80ies.
All tunes are taken from our vinyls ..
sometimes crackling like a heart-warming fire place.
The initial idea was to take one tune from each producer, but
soon we understood that this would come out to be a 3 hours mix.

of what we like best of the best:

ECM was founded by Manfred Eicher in Munich in 1969 and soon developed into a melting pot of interesting musical fusions. Jazz, folk, classical music, various African, Asian, South American and European sound idioms, minimalism, ambient, avant-garde and electronic music came together in the ECM cosmos. Artists such as Don Cherry, Steve Reich, Meredith Monk, the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Jon Hassell, Eberhard Weber, Carla Bley, Keith Jarrett and Arvo Pärtt have found a home there.
