Next up in our mix-series is, Salty DJ. He is one of Berlin’s artists to keep an eye on thanks to his skill of playing vinyl-only and the careful selection of records which ranges from first-generation techno to 00s Trance.  Well-known for his attention to detail, he also utilizes his wide genre knowledge to deliver emotive and technically impressive sets.

For this mix, he has recorded a vinyl mix, captivating the essence of the 90s. Meticulously curated, this mix takes you on a jounrey through carefully curated selected tracks that epitomize the hypnotic beats, euhproic melodies and pulsating basslines that once ruled the dancefloors.

As a co-founder and resident DJ of Introspective, a Geneva-based collective and record label launched in 2020, Cadence has been a key figure in shaping the local electronic music scene.

After notorious releases on labels such as Ismus, Extra Energy and Para//e/, Cadence has been pushing his sound to the maximum. The announcement
of his new alias Third Phase also promises some exciting releases for 2025.

Ahead of Amniote Editions’ 5 year anniversary night at Bassiani on the 6th of December (cancelled due to street protests) comes a very special mix from Munich’s finest, BASHKKA. Derived from the Turkish word for ‘different’ (she has roots there), the name reflects a no f*cks given approach to sound and culture that draws people toward her like moth to flame. From formative days in New York City where she started taking inspiration from its wealth of queer histories, she carved an insubordinate sound that’s crossed the Atlantic and set up shop in her native Germany, where her liberating tunes have found common cause with such venues as Blitz Club, Panorama Bar and Amsterdam’s Raum just a hop and a skip across the border. The aim is to reclaim spaces, assert the existence of marginalised groups (SWANA people like herself for one), amplify their narratives and create moments’ where ‘individual heartbeats merge into one motherbeat’. Further to those activist visions, her debut EP Maktub (2023) was a five-track banger and labour of love that synthesised Kurdish vocal samples with runaway beats. The reference to overlooked perspectives and elusive spark found at the intersection of culture and sound is the driving force, and something that’s felt in the gut when she plays. It’s a much needed energy in turbulent times, a reminder that you can save the world and have fun doing it. For Bassiani Podcast 242, BASHKKA brings her inimitable rhythms to the fore of the counter-cultural struggle: brazen and rave-ready, a two-hour trip to the future, slamming beats from a true icon.

@lucid_lucifer is a Berlin-based DJ and producer pushing the boundaries of modern trance music. His sound merges the raw emotion of early rave culture with the surgical precision of modern electronic production - fast, hypnotic, and uncompromising.

Rooted in the past but never bound by it, his sets reframe familiar sounds through a contemporary lens. Each track is chosen with purpose. Each mix is a space: immersive, intentional, and focused - demanding nothing, yet impossible to ignore.

His work as a producer mirrors his approach behind the decks - what begins as structure evolves into something fluid: a narrative shaped by rhythm, restraint, and momentum. This vision comes to life in his recent debut EP.

Cervi is the musical project of Nicole, a DJ graduated from DJLab Academy and co-founder of the collectives Sonido Disidente and Insurrectx. Her work focuses on trance and techno, characterized by energetic rhythms and atmospheric melodies that create immersive experiences.
Despite her short career, Cervi has shared the stage with international DJs/producers such as future.666, Sánchez Jr., and Chippy Nonstop. Additionally, Cervi has collaborated with
international record labels; her mixes have been featured on platforms such as
Loveisthetruth in Spain, inTension Live in Romania and Hystrionic Records in Colombia.
