Billy Kenny is a British producer, DJ and sound engineer with over 15 years of experience shaping a unique, genre-fluid sound. Blending House, Garage, Bass and modern melodic influences, his music has topped charts, earned awards and led to collaborations and official remixes for many major international artists.

Once a co-founder and A&R of the influential record label This Ain’t Bristol, Billy helped shape a movement that reached dancefloors worldwide. His career includes multiple world tours, performances on major festival stages, award-winning releases and repeat placements in the Beatport/DJ Mag Alternative Top 100 DJs list.

After years of working privately and independently, Billy’s focus now is precision, freedom and evolution. With full creative control for the first time in nearly a decade, he moves quietly, choosing to release only what feels essential and allowing the music to define the direction.

Playhous Entertainment is based in Miami, Florida, but San Francisco, Ca and Stuttgart, Germany, are where we call home. Our taste is evidently defined by our heritage; bred from the sounds of the German Techno and San Francisco Bass scenes, our ear caters to a very distinct sound within the scope of dance music. However, our lifelong infatuation with house music allows us to stay true to the classic sounds of the genre and pay homage to the legends who created the global phenomenon we see today.

We believe that electronic music is at a crossroads and the next generation of clubbers crave a more sophisticated product. Our goal is to create a collective consciousness within the international underground and accelerate the growth of electronic music culture.  ​

Formed in the beginning of 2014 by best friends in two cities, (Kabir Ranchod - Port Elizabeth) & (Sharan Vassan - East London), who through their love and passion for house music decided to join forces and share their collaborative sound with the loving crowds of the Eastern Cape and over South Africa. 

Performing back to back, each bringing their own unique style and skill makes for great chemistry and raw energy seen in their sets. 

2014 saw them hit the ground running on the local house music circuit having secured some pretty high calibre gigs alongside the likes of Kyle Watson, Chunda Munki, Niskerone, Jullian Gomes, Charl Chaka (Dubai), Closed Caption (Texas), Grimehouse, Haezer, NARCH, Craig De Sousa, Morne Munro, Jay Bhana, Skullmonkey, JakobSnake and the MunniBrotherz, Also securing gigs in the Western Cape at Ragazzi Bar, The Mexican in Jeffreys Bay, Grahamstown at 37 on New and Buccaneers and The Highlander in East London.
