And the fifth edition in our podcast row is hosted by no one less than our good old friend Konrad Verner. A young DJ and producer from Kassel.

They who know his sound might be confused by this peace. Cause normally you would expect a more progressive House mix with dreamy arps carrying you away on a soft cloud.
But harder times require harder techno so this one is different.
Besides that u can even enjoy one of his special electro swing sets in the afterhours when the sun comes up.
In his homestudio everything is built around his modular system. And maybe we are able to experience that combination in a live set soon.

Überall haben wir all die Jahre hier und dort Stücke unseres Herzens gelassen. Dort wo Erinnerungen wach werden, wo wir mit einem Lächeln oder Tränen in den Augen stehen bleiben und für einen kurzen Augenblick in uns gehen, dort finden wir sie wieder. Sie können sich in so vielfältigen Dingen und Orten verstecken, dass wir eine Schatzkarte bräuchten, um sie alle wiederzufinden. 
Wenn wir zurückblicken, können wir ihre Spuren verfolgen und Teile der Schatzkarte frei rubbeln. Eine mühsame Suche die auch in Sackgassen enden kann und deren Wert wir oft erst spät erkennen. Doch es lohnt sich auf eine Reise in sein Gedächtnis zu gehen und die dunklen Ecken zu erhellen. Denn wenn wir nicht wissen wo sich unsere Teile des Herzens befinden, bleibt kaum genug davon übrig um weiterzuleben. Doch wer sich bewusst ist wo und bei wem er sein Herz gelassen hat, ist wohl reicher als Donald Duck. Sein größtes Glück angemessen zu verteilen anstatt es in einem Tresor wegzuschließen verschafft wahre Freude. So lasst uns dieses Fest nutzen, um eine weitere Erinnerung zu schaffen, die wir später mit Freude wiederfinden können!

Dabei können wir den besinnlichen klängen von CubaLou lauschen. Sie erzählt uns von ihrer Suche. Dabei wirft sie anhand von melodischen und träumerischen Klängen einen Blick zurück.
Vielleicht entdecken einige von euch dabei ja auch Musikstücke an die sie ein Teil ihres Herzens verschenken können.

In this month we get the possibility to present you another family member of Steyoyoke Recordings. Clawz SG has invited a Producer and DJ who has dedicated his musical creation to the genres of electronic music in typically Steyoyoke sound.

Marco Perschon, aka MPathy, developed a strong interest for electronic music at a very young age. Growing up in the city of Berlin he was highly influenced by the electronic music scene in the 90’s. He later spent a couple of years in Chicago and also in Shanghai where he got involved with the local electronic music scenes, which ultimately shaped his outlook on electronic music today. With Techno music and DJing being his greatest passion for a long time, he started to work on his own productions in 2008. Since then he has produced Techno, Tech-House and Minimal music for various record labels.

After finishing his audio engineering studies in 2012 he joined the Berlin based Deep House label Steyoyoke. MPathy is responsible for the first and most successful Steyoyoke release in collaboration with Antonio Olivieri, ‘If I Were Music’. He has also done remixes for Soul Button, Florian Rietze, Sasch, BLANCAh and Animal Picnic. In the summer of 2013 MPathy made his solo voice heard for the first time with an established and rousing EP ‘I’m Yours’ for Steyoyoke, a collaboration with the seductive vocals of the highly talented singer and songwriter Amy Capilari.

With so much more to come from this young artist, ‘Iʼm Yours’ is testament to the philosophy that drives MPathy forward. MPathy is eager to push off in his own direction to continue to both challenge and provoke existing concepts of making unique and forward thinking music.

Performed internationally at Afterlife (Tomorrowland & Printworks), Awakenings, Blackbox Festival Colombia, Goa, Mystic Garden, Straf_werk, Warehouse Elementenstraat alongside Tale of Us, Adriatique, Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer, Mind Against, Hunter/Game, Woo York, Stephan Bodzin and Sasha & Digweed. Mark Stanton, geboren in einer anderen Galaxie, aufgezogen von schwarzen Katzen und Newcomer der Minimal Techno Szene.

Von Gigs im Mojo Club, bis hin zum Underground Festival ist er mittlerweile fester Bestandteil der Technolandschaft in Hamburg.

Bekannt für seine melodischen und sphärischen Sets, liebt er es die Crowd mit gewaltigen, minimalistischen Bässen zu hypnotisieren.

Inspiriert von den Klängen von Boris Brejcha, Breger und Lampé, arbeitet er seit kurzem auch als Produzent unentwegt an neuen Melodien und hämmernden Basslines, um seinen eigenen, einzigartigen Sound zu entwickeln, der in keine Schublade passen will.
