In constrast to his relaxed appereance, UREM's
basslines are cheeky and always take a surprising turn. 
He consistently finds new ways to effortlessly blend catchy vocals and emotional melodies into a sonic journey that gets under your skin. This unique fusion of sounds and sub-genres has allowed him to mesmerize dance floors far beyond Germany's most renowned clubs.
Primarily self-taught, his productions reflect the
innovative spirit and wit of the artist, seamlessly
blending the distinctive elements of his DJ sets into a single track: heavy basslines in all their playful glory, clever yet daring storylines and infectious harmonies.

Schon als kleiner Junge durchforstete er Papis 'verbotene' Plattensammlung und nahm am Radio stundenlang Mixtapes auf, die er dann unter seine Leute brachte. 
 
Ende der Achtziger auf dem Lande, stellte er mit dem Bruder eines Wanderdisko-Betreibers seine erste, mit Musik- und Lichtanlagen überdimensionierte Schulparty auf die Beine. Hier entflammte seine Leidenschaft, mit Events fröhliche Leute zusammenzubringen und sie auf eine musikalische Reise mitzunehmen. 
 
Seine zunehmende Vorliebe für Instrumental-Versionen bekannter Lieder und Synthesizer-Sound mündeten 1993/94 schliesslich im Techno, dem perfektem Konzentrat aus beidem. 
 
In diesem Experimentier-Paradies durchforstete er schweizweit als DJ und Organisator in Luzern Musikstile wie Techno, Trance, Goa, Progressive, Tech House, Electro Pop, Minimal und Deep House.
 
Heute spielt und produziert er eine abwechslungsreiche Mischung aus all diesen Einflüssen, oder lässt alte Zeiten aufleben ganz im Sinne seines Kredos 'Tanzen ist Träumen mit den Beinen‘.

My DJ career starts at a time when the Goa parties were still taking place in secret. 1995. As Dj duo Micro & Minu, they developed their own mix style in progressive Psytrance, especially in the off beat. Trance is based on repetition of melodies or with rhythm. Many appearances followed, first at smaller parties in the underground, in clubs, and later also at the major festivals in Switzerland and internationally. Like  Festivals Global Vibes, play @ all Atmosphere Festivals, Summer Never End, Burning Mountain, Skarabeus Festival, The Flying Circus Org and many, many more. As a DJ. The relationship to the dancing crowd is extremely important to me in order to feel empathy during this time and to take you on a journey in a trance, to play with you and just have a good time with everyone. Started with vinyl in the 90s and now with digital techniques for a long time, it is the art of presenting the mix in such a way that it never notices what is happening, that is psychedelic and tuned. With over 20 years of experience, it is still a lot of fun for me to make the crowd dance. I always feel connected to the music and I find many musical directions exciting, so I'm always open to what's coming.
